Story
Barnabus is an amazing pup with a huge love for fetch—give him a ball, and he’s the happiest dog in the world! He’s looking for a gentle and patient adopter who will let him take his time to build trust. Barnabus thrives in a calm environment where he’s spoken to with kindness and allowed to come to you on his own terms. Once he feels secure, his sweet and loyal personality truly shines. While he’s not a fan of constant cuddles right away, Barnabus warms up beautifully with stability and love. He enjoys quiet walks, watching the world go by, and engaging with the people around him. He’s great with kids, other animals, and people, making him a wonderful companion in the right home. Barnabus does have a quirky growl, but don’t be alarmed—it’s his way of asking for attention, especially when he wants to play! He’s been misunderstood in the past, but in the right hands, he’ll flourish into the perfect, devoted best friend. If you’re ready to offer Barnabus the care, understanding, and love he deserves, he’s ready to meet you! Fill out an application today to bring this playful and protective boy into your life.

Story
Hello. My dogs name is Coco. She is 8 years old, was gifted to me, she is the sweetest dog ever. Unfortunately, she has a heart murmur and is also blind. I cannot afford to get her the medication she needs for her heart murmur or to check if she potentially has cancer. Coco is good with kids and other dogs. She is very calm but does have anxiety issues, but she enjoys being around people. She truly is a very loving dog.

She’ll happily walk right up to you and plop herself down, requesting love and attention in the most endearing way. Her calm and peaceful demeanor makes her wonderful around other dogs. Betsy’s adorable little prance, complete with her charming wiggle butt, is a sight that will steal your heart every time.If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion to bring warmth and joy into your home, Betsy is ready to be that perfect friend. Could she be the one you’ve been waiting for?- - - - -Before being rescued, many of our dogs have had limited socialization, so they may need a bit of time to adjust to life as a family pet. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog`s individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of these dogs adapt quite quickly. Being a part of their rehabilitation is a truly rewarding experience. To learn more about mill dogs and start the adoption process, visit our website!

Highlights:needs another more confident dog in the homeSalinda is a sweet and timid 19-pound Cocker Spaniel and Bichon mix who is still finding her way in this big new world. Her gentle eyes tell a story of a girl who wants to trust but needs time to build her confidence.Salinda adores other dogs and finds comfort in their company. She often snuggles with her dog friends, and having a confident dog in her new home could help her continue to come out of her shell.Though she`s still too shy to take treats or seek out pets, Salinda is learning a little more each day that humans can be kind and gentle.
