Story
We bought Cooper from a family that breed their CKC female with an AKC male. He has been part of our family since he was 8 weeks old. He will turn 3 this April. He is lovable, goofy and loves playing Frisbee. However, he does have challenges with some aggression and resource guarding issues. He does not like the groomer touching his paws. He likes kids but sometimes can be snappy with them. If you are a family who is willing to spend the time to address his issues he could be the dog for you. We just want to find him a good home.

Story
Nala was born 9/30/21 and is a pure-bread Cocker Spaniel with AKC paper. She has a very good bloodline and comes from a respectable breeder. She is very loveable, loves attention, and super smart. Since I will be traveling more for work, I would prefer not to have to board her and feel that it would be best to rehome her to a family with other dogs and kids. It breaks my heart to have to give her up, but I know it's for the best and she deserves to be spoiled with love and attention. Nala may need more training on a leash and she is use to using a doggy door to go outside and potty. Occasionally, I take Nala to the dog park which she loves and she is good with car rides.

Story
Onyx was given up by his family at 1 year old. I saw his ad on Craigslist and decided to visit. He was playful and full of energy, but infested with fleas and without any vaccine shots. While not abused, he was neglected, kept outdoors in a dirt lot with two other dogs and a new litter of pups the family was also giving away. I took him in to provide the attention and training he needed, fostering until he was ready for a forever home. When I first got him, Onyx was scared of everything—car rides, dog parks, and even walking outside. But over time, he learned to walk on a leash, enjoy car rides, play confidently at the dog park. He’s now potty trained, flea-free, neutered, and up-to-date on shots. Onyx is a beam of light who would thrive with experienced pet owners who are good with boundaries as he gives major puppy eyes when he wants something. He’s ready for a loving home, ideally with another playful dog and a yard. He’s crate trained but may get anxious after 4 hours.

Relinquished by his owner as part of an unwanted litter. Mom has been spayed and the cycle of reproduction has ended. Charlie is a typical puppy, playful, full of energy, sociable and a happy pup. No baggage. He's also CRATE TRAINED. For additional information call Lydia at 714-357-8405. Please do NOT call to ask if this puppy is available for adoption. If this listing is still posted then we are still accepting applications. Please read the narrative in it's entirety. Please note our adoption procedures are explained in GREAT DETAIL BELOW. READ, READ, READ. Thank You. . . . . The best match will be selected and contacted to confirm an appointment at Petsmart in Yorba Linda on Saturday between noon and 3 pm or on a mutually agreeable day, time and place. We do not do out-of-state adoptions for puppies and we cannot hold puppies; please submit your application when you are ready to adopt. The adoption fees cover the mandatory and non-negotiable spay/neuter, rabies, microchip, microchip registration, core vaccinations including rabies and 4 sets of distemper/parvo and deworming. Adoption fees vary based on age, breed, size and the costs incurred on the dog's behalf by us i.e. medical, behavioral training, etc. The adoption fee for a puppy is generally $495 - $525. Puppies are not house-trained although they may have begun crate-training and/or potty pad training in their foster home, depending on their age. House-training is a process that will need to be completed by their adopter. Puppies, if left unsupervised and not redirected will develop negative behaviors such as using the restroom in the wrong place, chewing, barking, whining, etc. Please be sure to do research on raising a puppy and be sure that you are prepared to do so. This is a great article from 3LostDogs that explains the trials and tribulations of puppyhood: http://3lostdogs.com/things-wish-everyone-knew-before-they-get-dog-2/
