Miles (aka Smiles) is a smart, lively, and lovable 27 lb pup born on September 1, 2022. Adventurous and eager to please, he makes an excellent companion for an active home where he’ll get plenty of exercise. Miles has had training, knows basic commands, and sleeps indoors with his human. He thrives in a single-dog home or with a confident, well-matched canine companion. While he’s done well at dog parks and plays nicely under supervision, Miles has shown resource-guarding behavior and nipped at his owner, but he responded well to professional training. He’s been around children (without nipping) but should be monitored. Miles needs experienced, confident owners who can provide structure, love, and healthy alpha energy.

Bella is a 7 year old cockapoo about 24.5 lbs. She is spayed and is current in vaccines. I adopted her from a no kill shelter in El Paso, Texas in 2020. She is potty trained and if in the house, she will use the pee pads, she’s not aggressive, barks in the house only when she’s scared of adults, mostly men. She gets along with other pets. She is scared of loud noises (except fireworks and thunder) and adults, mostly men, and she is good with children. She likes to be talked like a baby and likes to cuddle and sleep next to you. Bella needs a loving family who would be patient with her and interact with her. Bella will trust you if you treat her with love and show her that you care for her.

The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded. It doesn’t stop there!
