Story
Meet Rudy. Rudy is about 5 months old and he came to us from a breeder because he has a cloudy left eye. He is a cockapoo puppy and he is a very friendly and social puppy. We had a veterinarian check his eye and make sure it was not glaucoma since cocker spaniels are prone to this issue. His eye pressures are normal and he is not in any pain. He can see through the cloudiness and doesn't need any medication at this time. There is a possibility when he gets older he may need some sort of treatment or it may be fine like this forever. It looks like it could have been an injury or birth defect. Rudy is not bothered by it all and is now looking for his forever home. He is neutered, up to date with vaccines for his age and microchipped. His adoption fee is $400. Rudy weighs 17 lbs at 5 months old but he does have some growing to do yet. If you are interested in adopting Rudy, please visit our website www.lharinc.org go to Adopt and complete the dog adoption application. Story
I adopted Nÿko as a puppy from Lancaster, PA. By six months, he began showing signs of separation anxiety, despite early training at Petco. Though he graduated, Nico still has issues with leash pulling, barking, and gets antsy around large dogs, cats, and squirrels, though he enjoys the dog park with smaller dogs. He does bark a lot and can come off as intimidating to kids, but he has never shown aggression but he has high reactivity and skittishness. After trying personal training and anxiety medication with limited success, I realized his care needs exceeded my capacity, especially as a new mom. Nÿko has a sister he gets along with but can get jealous if she receives attention. I am seeking a home that can embrace Nÿko’s personality, heloving yet anxious nature and give him the support and structure he needs. Nÿko and Nola are best friends and I would love for them to continue to have monthly or bi-monthly play dates. I am hoping whoever he goes to will stay in contact with me too

These pups are in Pottstown, Pennsylvania too!

KENNEL ID #01658&#226&#128&#139 Schnoodles are a mix of a Schnauzer and a Poodle. They have hair-like coats that shed very little and produce low dander, making them a popular choice for those seeking hypoallergenic pets. Schnoodles are social animals that crave companionship and loyalty; they enjoy being part of the family. While they can be protective, they tend to be more vocal than aggressive, often characterized by being "all bark and no bite.  Ezra, is a 2.5 yr. old Schnoodle that weighs about 35  lbs. He and his five littermates were born on June 19, 2022, from a backyard breeder. They were in very poor condition, extremely dirty, matted, and underweight. All of them have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed and  shaved down.  Ezra has come a long way. He is shy at first but after a little coaxing he comes around. He is still frightened of men but loves women. He would do best in a home with another confident dog. He has transformed from being neglected, starved, and unsocialized into a lovable guy.  Adoption Donation $475 Thank you for your interest in rescue.  If you would like to be considered for  adoption please submit an application to adopt.  If you have any questions regarding the adoption process please  email:    dianespets1486@gmail.com  or call 610-970-7500 APPLICATIONS TO ADOPT : DOG   SMALL ANIMALS   BIRD REPTILE   FERRET January 6, 2025, 2:12 am
