Story
Meet Bark Ruffalo! Bark Ruffalo is a 1 year old, 15 pound Cockapoo.
Bark is a charming and energetic young dog with a heart as big as his playful spirit! His short, sleek fur is a warm, caramel brown, making him look like a living teddy bear. With sparkling, intelligent eyes and a wagging tail that never seems to stop, Bark Ruffalo is always ready for an adventure. He loves playing fetch, going for long walks, and showing off his impressive array of tricks. Despite his lively nature, he also has a tender side, often curling up beside you for a quiet cuddle.
Bark Ruffalo is well-behaved and gets along well with both children and other pets. His friendly and sociable nature makes him the perfect addition to any family. Bark Ruffalo dreams of a place where he can run freely, play to his heart's content, and, most importantly, be loved unconditionally. Adopting Bark Ruffalo means gaining a faithful friend who will bring endless happiness and companionship into your life.
Bark Ruffalo is currently being Fostered in Queens, NY. His adoption fee is $600.
Bark Ruffalo is a Patron Pup. Patron Pups have higher adoption fees due to varying reasons and are adopted quickly, even with these higher adoption fees. They may be purebred, a highly desirable breed, small in size fully grown, etc. These fees allow them to act as patrons to other pets in our care who may not be as adoptable, or have ongoing costs for medical care, contributing to a longer time in rescue, and therefore a higher cost for us to care for them. Patron Pups allow us to continue rescuing these other animals and give them a better chance at finding their forever homes as well.

All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible.
We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.
