Story
🐶 Meet KC — A Young, Friendly Guy Ready for a Fresh Start KC is a handsome Cockapoowith a sweet disposition and a lot of love to give. At just over 1 year old and weighing around 18 pounds, he’s a great medium-small size—easy to manage but sturdy enough for everyday adventures. KC is friendly, social, and does well with other dogs and children, making him a wonderful candidate for a family or an active household. His experience with cats is unknown, so a careful introduction would be recommended. KC’s surrender was due to a family medical situation, not because of any behavior issues. He previously lived with elderly caregivers who simply couldn’t give him the time and attention a young dog needs. As a result, KC would thrive in a home where he can enjoy more engagement, playtime, and companionship. When left alone, KC may bark a bit—typical for a young dog still adjusting—but overall he has a good temperament and responds well to structure and routine. He is not crate trained, but with consistency and positive reinforcement, he has great potential to continue learning and maturing. KC is a friendly, affectionate boy who’s ready to bond with someone who can give him the time, attention, and love he deserves. If you’re looking for a young, social, medium-energy dog to grow with your family, KC could be the perfect fit. 🐾 ----------------------------------------- If you’re interested in adopting, please apply online at mscrescue.org/adopt.
