Story
Jolene and Ruby are 2 of the cutest, most lovable rambunctious puppies you’ll ever meet. Born November 1st, 2024 – these pups have got it all going on. Mom is a silky terrier mix (yorkie mix ultimately) and dad is a poodle – They currently weigh about 4 lbs and we estimate they won’t get bigger than 15 lbs (mom is a little bigger). Jolene is the blonde wirehair pup (does not seem to shed), and the foster named her Jolene because it’s guaranteed she’s going to steal your man. Ruby is the black and white one (almost spaniel looking!), and she was name after the Kenny Rogers song “Ruby, don’t take your love to town”. Both puppies are so outgoing, so sweet, and some of the most well socialized puppies. They’re not afraid of anything or trying anything. They’ve been fostered with all age children and do WONDERFUL with kids. They love to play with them! They’re currently being fostered with other dogs (7!) and cats and have no issues at all. They would do great with other animals in the home to play with as they get bored easily. Ruby and Jolene love their toys, love getting into everything and being your normal havoc causing puppies. They are working on house training and pad training. There’s nothing bad we can say about these puppies. If you’re looking for a lifelong companion, a puppy who will keep you on your toes and entertained for a long time to come, please consider adopting 1, or both, of these amazing girls. We will more likely have a high number of applicants for these girls – If you’re interested in adopting we strongly recommend filling out an application at www.pawsitive-impact-animal-rescue.org sooner than later as we do go in order as received. These puppies are current on age appropriate vaccinations, preventions, dewormer, microchipped and will have their health certificate issued by a veterinarian prior to receiving the puppy.

Story
Meet Cerberus, the charming elderly gentleman who's ready to steal your heart with his sweet and laid-back personality. This lovable boy might be getting up there in age, but he's still got plenty of love to give and plenty of naps to take. Cerberus is a low-maintenance companion who enjoys life at his own pace, with food being one of his greatest joys.Cerberus' journey began in a Tennessee shelter, though we may never know why he was there in the first place. When one of our dedicated southern rescuers heard about him, she immediately reached out to see if we could help. How could we say no? We believe that senior dogs deserve a chance at a peaceful, loving home, and Cerberus is no exception. We were thrilled to bring him into our care, and he’s been thriving ever since. Now happily settled in his foster home, Cerberus spends his days in true retirement style—napping, eating, and soaking up all the comfort he can find. His favorite spots? His cozy crate, soft beds, plush blankets, and, of course, his stuffed toys. While he enjoys a few trips outside each day, he’s content to relax indoors, with his crate door always open so he can come and go as he pleases. Cerberus is a true champion of relaxation.Cerberus is on a special prescription diet to manage his bladder stones, but don’t let that fool you—he’s still very much a foodie and will gladly show you his appreciation for a tasty meal. This precious boy gets along well with other pets, including cats and large breed dogs, but due to his age and the occasional nip when startled, he’d do best in a home with older children who understand his need for a bit of space. He’s house trained, crate trained, and walks well on a leash, so outings are a breeze. Plus, he’s an excellent travel buddy who enjoys car rides. If you're looking for a calm, easy-going companion who will stick by your side and offer unconditional affection, Cerberus is your guy.Name: CerberusBreed: CockapooSex: MaleAge: 13 years  (estimated)Weight: 18.0Spayed/Neutered: YesVaccinations: Up to dateHeartworm: Negative on recent testingMicrochipped: YesBASED ON OUR OBSERVATIONS:Good with Children: Over 12Good with Dogs: YesGood with Cats: YesAdoption Fee: $ 300  (includes transport fee when applicable)Location of dog currently:    Tennessee IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south & New England.  Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher.
