Story
Sweet sweet Brandy is now finally ready for adoption! She was surrendered to us pregnant. She had 3 adorable puppies who are all in their forever homes. Brandy is such a nice dog. She is very well balanced, walks great on a leash and is the perfect size at 21 pounds. All dogs in our program are up to date on all their shots, spayed or neutered, and micro chipped. Our dogs are in foster homes which enables us to learn more about them in a home environment. We do not place dogs on a first come first serve basis, but rather to the home best suited for them. An application, adoption fee and contract are required. Please direct all questions to adopt@crdogrescue.com. All our dogs can be met with an approved application. Story
Simba was surrendered to us the day after Christmas. His owners had kept him in their yard and as the kids grew older they paid less and less attention to him. Shelter Hope took him to the groomers and gave him quite the makeover! The neglect Simba endured physically and emotionally has definitely taken a toll on him. We have noticed that he tends to people guard and lash out when he feels cornered. Simba would do best in a home who would be willing to work with him to correct his behavioral issues and give him plenty of exercise. Be ready to adopt. Adoptions can happen quickly so be prepared for our call, only apply for dogs that every family member in the home wants, and wait to apply until you return from your vacation.
