Taz is a 9-year-old male Cocker Spaniel with a heart of gold and a spirit that proves nothing can hold him back. Though Taz is blind, having had both eyes removed, he gets around just fine and navigates his world with confidence and joy. He’s a wonderful, affectionate companion who loves spending time with his humans and is always up for a cuddle or a snuggle session. Taz is dog-friendly and would thrive in a home with other dogs, as he enjoys the company of his canine companions. He’s also great with kids and would make a loving addition to a family that can offer him the attention he deserves. While he’s friendly and gentle with most animals, Taz does have a bit of a hunting instinct—he will chase cats if he notices them, so a cat-free home would be best. Taz is house-trained and loves being part of the family, though he does have a bit of separation anxiety when first left alone. He will need a patient family who can work with him as he gets used to being on his own, and a calm routine will help him feel more secure when you’re away. Due to his Cocker Spaniel coat, Taz requires regular grooming to keep him looking and feeling his best. But with a little care and attention, Taz will be the happiest pup, wagging his tail and showering you with love.
