Story
Bilbo is a handsome boy who has been in the shelter system for far too long. He is a Chow/German Shepherd mix who is very responsive to structure. We estimate that he is about 3 years old. Bilbo used to have a young girl come visit him in the shelter with her mom for a while and he looked forward to her visits very much. Since she stopped coming, he is looking forward to meeting a new friend to protect and be loyal to. Bilbo is not the most playful dog in the world, but he makes up for it by being an independent observer who loves his occasional nap. ***APPLY TO ADOPT: finalvictoryrescue.com*** We provide meet-and-greets by appointment with an application on file.

Story
Age: 1 year (DOB: 1/14/23) Breed: Lab/Chow/Mix (dna tested - not a guess) - 75 lbs M/F: M Spayed/Neutered/Shots: yes - UTD on rabies, dhpp/distemper, heartworm prevention, and neutered Good with dogs, cats, and/or kids: good with dogs and kids! can cat test upon request. Aggression or medical issues?: no known medical - alpha behavior at my house but not in an aggressive way (barks and will attempts to hump new dogs at my house to prove his point although he has 0 idea what he’s doing as he’s been neutered since 6 months - did NOT do this at the dog park so don’t think he will do this to dogs already established in a home, just any new ones added) Reason for rehoming?: accidental litter - mom was fixed and returned back to owner once pups were old enough. This pup has still sadly yet to be able to find his home Rescue help?: no - already with one House/crate trained?: is house trained and did fine in the crate when I did crate him, but I honestly leave him out with no issues now when I leave (but he does have access to outside to potty as needed through a doggy door) Additional info/story (personality): Very friendly with everyone he has met. Is extremely shy at first and takes a bit to warm up which is why he is still here unfortunately as he is so shy about meeting new people and they don’t get to see him come out of his shell. Have taken him to the dog park and it took us roughly 20 minutes to get him moving around and 2 hours in he was exploring more on his own. He didn’t get to the playful stage yet, but was making significant progress. Attaching some vids of him below to show him in full settled mode where he loves to play, be a couch potato, and so on. Also 10/10 loves ear scritches. Message/comment if interested. Make sure if you message me to include the animal’s name since I have a lot of rescues I am trying to help rehome at the moment. Adoption application & contract required to ensure good home.

Story
Hi! My name is Reba and I am a 10 year old chow mix. Don’t let my age fool you, I love going on walks or being outside in general. I don’t have a ton of energy, so the walks don’t even need to be long! After some outdoor activity I love nothing more than laying on the cold floor for a while. Mom says I sometimes pulls back on the leash so without a martingale collar or fitted collar or harness, I would probably slip out of it.Felines are not my favorite, so please be a `dog only` house! My foster mom doesn`t have any other dogs, so please do a meet and greet with yours, if you have any, to make sure we would be a good fit together.I like following you around to see what you’re doing but I don’t mind being left home alone and only play with my toys. My foster mom also likes to leave me kongs and it keeps me busy since food is my favorite thing. I am very gentle when meeting new people and don’t try to jump on anyone. I even walk up to them calmly! I want nothing more than a quiet home with a loving family. My adoption fee of $50 includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?If you`d like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website, PawmettoLifeline.org. Adoptions are BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Please fill out the online application, and you will be contacted if you are approved and are a good fit for one of our adoptable pets.

Story
Found on the side of a road, likely dumped. Horrible open wounds from flea dermatitis. Incredibly friendly and happy boy despite his history! He is still fine tuning his house training and we’re still working on not marking, but otherwise he does not have accidents in his crate. We’re hoping the marking clears once he is neutered 7/2 and once he adjusts to the smells of the other pets in the home. He has had different reactions to dogs. Occasionally he will wag with loose body language and other times he seems to not want them in his space. Understanding the chow breed, there is a good likelihood that he would do best as an only dog. He has not been cat tested yet! This boy has the absolute best smile and is just so happy to receive love! Leroy is located in Columbia, SC but we are happy to arrange transport for a qualified adopter!
