Story
Grace, affectionately known as ‘Gracie’ to her foster family, is having a blast in foster with the other dogs. Gracie is stunning with a soft, fluffy coat. She has been busy learning all about living in a home, walking on a leash and human affection. Gracie has made wonderful headway already but will still benefit from a patient and understanding adopter. At this time we would prefer Gracie find a home with no children or respectful, older children.  We would like to see Gracie find a home with another dog who would be a good example for her - one who is confident and laid back. She lacks confidence at times and looks to other dogs for guidance. At this point, we would also like Gracie to find a home with a fenced in yard. She is walking nicely on leash, but still needs encouragement and consistency with her leash skills. When walking on a leash, she does look to her person for reassurance and protection which is a huge plus. Gracie has been respectful of furniture and prefers to use a dog bed, always choosing to lay with another dog. She is working on perfecting potty training and has just started to learn commands. Gracie follows routines nicely and is doing well with crate training. This beautiful girl has a ton of promise and will make a wonderful companion for a family willing to give her time and patience while she settles in. She absolutely has the best smile and always seems so proud of herself when she’s experienced something new alongside of her person. With a bit of time, she’s gonna shine   www.mostlymuttz.org https://facebook.com/mostlymuttz #mostlymuttzrescue #learningtolovelife #chowchowlovers #rescuedismyfavoritebreed #adoptabledogs #stunningbeauty Mostly Muttz PA Kennel #10872 ##2225922##

Story
Clifford is mostly Chow. He weighs around 60 pounds and we estimate he is around 2 years old. He was dumped on the side of a rural road with a litter of puppies and was rescued by good Samaritans. Clifford is a super wonderful dog. He is sweet, gentle, and good-natured. He especially loves puppies and gentle children. We do not know how he would do with cats. Clifford is a very good boy. He is crate-trained, sits on command, and walks well on a leash. Texas is extremely hot, and Clifford is happy to be in his crate inside the air-conditioned house. We are working on housetraining and he could probably use other gentle obedience training. Clifford rides well in a vehicle but is a bit nervous about getting into the vehicle. He is shy with new people (especially men) and takes some time to trust. Clifford is sensitive and scared of mean voices, rough treatment, and dogs that are mean to him. We are sure he was not treated well by whoever had him before. Clifford needs to be treated gently so he will trust you. Once he trusts you or another dog, he becomes happy and playful. Clifford deserves a wonderful home. He must be in the house as a loved member of the family. He must be walked on a leash and have a fenced yard to run and play. Clifford is neutered, fully vaccinated (DAPPvL2, Bordatella, rabies), and microchipped. Clifford has been treated for heartworms and is now heartworm-free. He gets monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Clifford is ready to change his zip code. He is located in Texas but can be transported after he is adopted. Clifford's adoption fee includes the cost of ground transport by a reputable and trusted transport company to a scheduled stop closest to you. Stops include, but are not limited to, Parsippany NJ, Hampton NJ, or Nanuet NY. Please email 2manydogstx@gmail.com if you are interested in adopting this wonderful boy. Story
Meet Chance. He is being fostered in Athens TN east TN. Out of state welcome. Transport to the north east and Great Lakes areas available and if you’re seeing this on adopt a pet the transport fees are included in his adoption fee. We use rescue riders for our pet transport because they are the best on the road! Chance is a sweetie pie. He looks big but he is such a little thing only 30lbs fully grown. He does have a bigger head than body but it just makes him more cute. He’s great with other dogs and doesn’t know a stranger. He was a stray that likely had been either kicked really hard in his rear end or gotten hit by a car we hope it was a car and that no one would do such a thing. He is current on all vaccines and is neutered and chipped. He does great in his crate and is potty trained. He’s pretty chill and his previous injury is likely why. His vet appt went well and x rays revealed old injury that has healed and bones have fused. He cannot lift his tail straight up or even as high as his hip (but he has no problem wagging it and letting you know he adores you). He sometimes limps on his back right leg but sometimes he runs full force on it. He may develope some arthritis in his old age but til then nothing is stopping this kid from living his best life and being the amazing boy he is. Since he was a stray previously we prefer his new home have a fence. He is such a precious soul. Everyone who meets him are instantly in love with him. Apply at pet path.org

Story
Mookie is a sweet, playful, and silly girl. She is about 2 years old and 30 (should be about 36) lbs. Mookie was dumped by folks who did not have a fenced yard, so Mookie wanted to chase their chickens! She is friendly and social and does great with other dogs. We can cat test. We prefer a breed type experienced home, with a fenced yard. Mookie is the best and a must meet, for she will steal your heart for sure. Can be a touch skittish with first few minutes of meeting folks, but warms up quickly and is very affectionate, once she knows you. A touch bigger than she looks in photos, and way prettier.  LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER (Pregnant Dog Rescue) is a private, in home, all breed rescue facility. We exist only on the kindness of your donations and adoptions! We pride ourselves on being an HOLISTIC center and feed only holistic foods and various vitamins and supplements to all of our dogs. LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER dogs are well socialized, very friendly, and in wonderful health.  We stand by our pups/dogs, and give 10 days for a refund and almost always take our dogs back at any age of their lives (often depends on dog)! LMAC has an application screening process.  All applicants are asked to provide vet references, personal references, and a home visit.  We pride ourselves in matching up the right dog with the right home. Sometimes this happens quickly and sometimes it might take awhile. We hope you understand and are willing to wait for the perfect pup for your situation. We reserve the right to turn applicants down and to change our mind about a suitable match, for we are only concerned about what is best for our dogs.  Also note that we arrange our visiting hours around your schedule, as this is a private, in home facility.  We respond to all inquiries promptly, so if you have any trouble sending us an email, or have not heard back from us within 24 hours, please, CONTACT US AGAIN and check your spam!  (We all know how emails can be at times!) Our dogs are spayed or neutered (if old enough), up to date on vaccines, wormed, heartworm tested, and free of fleas and ticks.  We temperament test our  dogs and they are all suitable for many family situations. Our dogs are well mannered, know some basic commands, and are usually housebroken within a week of being with us (if old enough).  They are in our family/home situation at this time (not in kennels or crates, although most are crate trained) and are worked with daily.  All of our dogs do well with other dogs and many do well with cats. Adoption donations vary with age, breed, vetting, and training of the dog, and range from $250 to $695 (most being $595).  (We do not tend to place puppies or small dogs with kids under 6 and reserve the right to match who WE feel would be the best homes for our dogs.)   December 22, 2024, 2:16 pm

Story
Velma is super! She is friendly and social and loves everyone. Velma is only about 1 year old and 35 lbs of wiggles and fun. She is very chow and is good with other dogs, and we can cat test. Breed experience is important with this type of dog, as is a fenced yard. She uses a dog door like a champ and loves to go for walks and is good in the car. All in all, a super little companion dog. We do not place this type of breed with little kids, for while she is friendly, we prefer kids with more experience around dogs. A must meet, for Velma will steal your heart for sure.
