Story
Clifford the big red dog is mostly Chow. He weighs around 70 pounds and is estimated to now be around 3 years old. Clifford was dumped on the side of a rural road with a litter of puppies and was rescued by good Samaritans. Clifford is a super wonderful dog. He is sweet, gentle, and good-natured. He especially loves puppies, small dogs, and gentle children. We do not know how he would do with cats. Clifford is a very good boy. He is crate-trained, sits on command, and walks well on a leash. It is extremely hot here in Texas and Clifford is happy to be in his crate inside the air-conditioned house. We are working on housetraining (teaching him that just because the little dogs pee in the house does not mean that he can). Clifford could probably use other gentle obedience training. Clifford rides well in a vehicle but is a bit nervous about getting into the vehicle. He is shy with new people (especially men) and takes some time to trust. Clifford is sensitive and will hide from angry voices, rough treatment, and mean dogs. We are sure he was not treated well by whoever had him before. Clifford needs to be treated gently so he will trust you. Once he trusts you or another dog, he becomes happy and playful. Clifford deserves a wonderful home. He must be in the house as a loved member of the family. He must be walked on a leash and have a fenced yard to run and play. Clifford is neutered, fully vaccinated (DAPPvL2, Bordatella, rabies), and microchipped. Clifford has been treated for heartworms and is now heartworm-free. He receives monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Clifford is located in Texas but can be transported after he is adopted. His adoption fee includes the cost of ground transport by a reputable and trusted transport company to a scheduled stop closest to you. Stops include, but are not limited to, Parsippany NJ, Hampton NJ, or Nanuet NY. Please email 2manydogstx@gmail.com if you are interested in adopting this wonderful boy. Story
Grace has been loving life since arriving to foster in mid November. She has made great headway and is becoming quite the wonderful little companion. At approximately nine months old and 30lbs, she is pretty much fully grown. Grace, affectionately known as ‘Gracie’ to her foster family has a soft, fluffy coat with a curly tail.  When she arrived, she had to learn all about human affection and it’s safe to say she loves it. Gracie now enjoys laying curled up alongside of you, loves pets, belly rubs and especially ear and paw massages. She is quite the little princess. Gracie has a big personality, loves, loves, loves other dogs and really enjoys being outside. She gets along well with all dogs, though seems to have a bit of a preference with the females - almost always choosing them to play and snuggle with. Gracie loves soft toys that she can “de-squeak”, soft blankets to roll in and keeping an eye out for nosy neighbors (she might be one herself ) We would prefer Gracie has another dog in her furever home. Gracie is still a tad shy when meeting new people but immediately looks to her person or her doggie friends to see how they feel and follows their lead accordingly. Gracie is absolutely a follower and does lack confidence in herself, so having a dog in the home that is a good example for her is important. Gracie is in tune with her people’s emotions and energy, so for this reason, a calm and respectful household would be best for Gracie. She lives with two teenagers in foster and does well with them. We would prefer to see Gracie find a home without young children due to her lack of confidence. She will do just fine with older, respectful children. Gracie doesn’t mind being picked up, does well in the bath (she has not been to a groomer but can easily be groomed at home), and is content to accompany you on car rides once lifted into the car. A fenced in yard would be ideal but is no longer required for her furever home. She is walking very nicely on leash, and looks to her person for reassurance and protection when she encounters something new, which is great. She is not reactive to people or dogs on walks, does not have prey drive and is always eager to go. Gracie is still working on perfecting her potty training but is doing well with frequent potty breaks. Gracie follows routines nicely and while she would prefer not to be crated, she is crate trained. She has started commands but does get easily distracted. This beautiful girl has a ton of promise and will make a wonderful companion for a family willing to give her time and patience at first while she settles in and learns her new routine. She absolutely has the best smile and always seems so proud of herself when she’s experienced something new alongside of her person. With just a bit of understanding and consistency, she’s gonna shine and be the apple of someone’s eye   ♥ Gracie is part of our Meet Me program which means you can talk to her foster before applying or becoming an approved adopter. You can even meet her in person before deciding whether or not you’d like to apply. Just send an email to meet_me@mostlymuttz.com with your contact information and her foster will be in touch!  www.mostlymuttz.org #mostlymuttzrescue #learningtolovelife #chowchowlovers #rescuedismyfavoritebreed #adoptabledogs #stunningbeauty https://facebook.com/mostlymuttz Mostly Muttz PA Kennel #10872 ##2225922##

Story
Shiloh is at the very beginning of his journey to a furever home. The beginning of his story (of what we know) began when he was dumped on a property alongside three other puppies down south. Two didn’t survive, but Shiloh and his sister Grace are both safe, with the promise of a bright future.  This gorgeous boy is rather timid right now and still learning to trust new experiences and people. He has been busy observing human interaction rather than engaging, but follows the routine of the pack he is in foster with nicely. Shiloh is scared of being on leash right now but we have no doubt he can overcome this. He prefers to keep his crate clean, but is not yet fully potty trained. Shiloh is a generally quiet boy and does take treats nicely. Shiloh does prefer to eat alone, which helps him to eat without worry. Shiloh’s bio will be updated as he progresses with milestones in his journey. At this point, Shiloh needs the following type of adopter/furever home/environment: Experienced adopter Shiloh must have another dog in the home that will be a good example for him No Children Fenced in yard Willing to work with a behaviorist if needed www.mostlymuttz.org #mostlymuttzrescue #learningtotrust #SeekingUnderstanding #adoptabledogs #illbeworthit #timeandpatience Mostly Muttz Rescue, PO Box 406, Gilbertsville, PA 19525PA Kennel License 10872 ##2278448##
