Story
Jesse James is a calm, cool & collected easy going guy. The noise & confusion of busy events or barking & chaos of all the dogs never phases him. Jesse walks great on leash is crate trained and likes car rides especially if he gets to ride shotgun :)He likes to sit with his person watching what's going on- kind of like that "nosy neighbor.. but a LOT cuter :) It takes Jesse a little while to trust new people or to feel safe in new places but not too long. In no time he'll approach for pats or treats. Good with dogs and accepts pets from strangers or kids. Jesse James went from, the streets to a rescuer in Louisiana, then to a boarding place when his rescuer got very ill ;( His rescuer passed away and he was then transferred to a high kill pound in LA ;( Our rescue saw him with several other dogs who were from the same rescuer and decided to save two of them!! His friend was adopted pretty quickly but Jesse was more reserved and traumatized by all the changes in his life... I mean, as we get older we definitely are slower to adjust :) Now he is READY for his real family!! He is a great boy, and just like a chow he loves his people! He has waited for this opportunity so we are praying that the right family will see him and say... WE have been waiting for Jesse James too!!! ADOPT....DON'T SHOP!!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in tX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

MEET GRIZZLY! Grizzly is a 6-year-old male Chow Chow mix in need of a foster or forever home. He is a sweet, gentle boy, who does well with other dogs and kids! Grizzly was rescued from a crowded California shelter, where he was impounded as a stray back in November 2024. Our rescue finally pulled him out in late February. Grizzly loves people and would do great with someone who works from home or is retired. He's a loving dog that deserves a loving home. He weighs 64 lbs. Please email for an application.

The votes are IN and we ARE the WINNERS!! Found at the side of a country road (very common dumping ground, next to the railroad tracks), and saved by a wonderful "foster" and her husband and son and other doggy friends :) We started living like REAL loved puppies the day she saved us!! We are learning potty training and are crate trained experts!! We are leash training as well, but you have to understand.... we were never loved, never lived IN a home and NEVER had ANYONE CARE!!! So, potty trained or not, we are over the moon (and so is our foster mom). But now it is time to find our furever homes! We love and play very well together and would be ideal as a pair, but do NOT have to be adopted together. We need another calm and confident dog to keep us happy/played with and to teach us all we need to know about being loved pups :) We are gorgeous pups and our coats will accent your hair :) ADOPT...DON'T SHOP!!! Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Meet Duke! He is currently 9 weeks old, ~15 pounds, and we think he may be a Chow/Border Collie mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! This puppy is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves their life AND it also allows us to save the life of another in its place. Watch Duke's video here: Duke Chowbacca Fluffasaurus is fluffier than a freshly shaken pom-pom and so squishable, you’d swear he was made of marshmallows. With his thick black coat, a dapper stripe of white on his chest and at his chin, and the perfect squishable build, Duke is a walking, woofing teddy bear. This curious explorer loves sniffing out new adventures, trotting around with his tail wagging like a happy little flag, and rolling over slowly for belly rubs on demand. And when the day's excitement is over, he transforms into a certified nap champion, preferring to curl up in a fluffy dog bed for the coziest of snoozes. Duke is equal parts playful and affectionate, and is ready to bring snuggles, smiles, and soft, squishy joy into your life. If you’re looking for a loving, tail-wagging fluffball with the heart of a lion and the snoozing skills of a pro, Duke Chowbacca Fluffasaurus is ready to be your forever best friend! Duke is currently in a loving foster home with his sister Daisy and several other dogs of all sizes and ages. He loves to play with all of his foster siblings and then...take lots of naps. Eat, sleep, play, repeat. Duke is living his best puppy life right now - all he needs is YOU! Duke is still young so he will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. His new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/67be36043b242b985a0b5c59 Please email tim@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $1600.00 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW or the NE at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 6 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport. DISCLAIMER- Breed type is determined based on general appearance and behavioral characteristics, and cannot be guaranteed unless DNA test results or AKC registration were provided at intake.

This puppy is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves their life AND it also allows us to save the life of another in its place. Watch Daisy's video here: Sweet Daisy Chowbacca Chonkasaurus is the fluffiest, chunkiest, softest little ray of sunshine you’ll ever meet! She's so incredibly snuggly - she's basically a living teddy bear with extra, extra squish. (Have you seen that tukus on her, lol?) With her tongue often out like she’s mid-thought and stretched out in the comfiest of sploots, Daisy is here to bring big smiles, bigger snuggles, and the biggest belly rub requests. Her soft, squishy belly is scientifically proven* (*probably) to be the world’s best pillow and her sploot is FIRST CLASS. This sweetheart is as soft as a fluffy cloud, and her happy and playful personality makes every day feel like a treat. If you're looking for a pup who's equal parts gentle, affectionate, and crazy adorable, Daisy is ready to prance into your heart—one floofy step at a time! (Warning: excessive snuggling and squishing may occur.) Daisy is currently in a loving foster home with several other dogs of all sizes and ages.
