Meet Thunder, the 10-year-old purebred Chow Chow with a heart as big as his fluffy face!
Thunder came to Fuzzy Pawz after the passing of his owner, but don't let his age fool you—this charming gentleman still has plenty of spunk and energy to keep up with the best of them! While he's spent much of his life as a loyal companion, he's now looking for a new family to shower with love, and he's ready to give all his cuddles in return.
With his velvety, lion-like mane and soulful eyes, Thunder is the definition of a cuddlebug. He’s a true snuggle enthusiast and will happily climb into your lap for a cozy moment, even if you're in the middle of work. If you're looking for a furry friend who will insist on being close and shower you with affection, Thunder is your guy!
Thunder is house-trained, great with cats, dogs, and kids (according to his former family), and has an easygoing nature when it comes to grooming. He’s one of those dogs who, despite his calm demeanor, will surprise you with little bursts of energy and excitement.
Though Thunder may be a bit shy and take some time to build trust—typical for a Chow Chow—once you’ve earned it, you'll see a bond like no other. Even when he's feeling a little unsure, he’s still brave enough to ask for pets and will wag his tail with the sweetest little smile.
Thunder may be mature in age, but his loving heart is timeless. If you're patient, kind, and ready to offer him a forever home, Thunder will repay you with endless affection and loyalty. He's looking for a gentle soul to give him the peace and love he deserves in his golden years.
