Story
RESCUE ONLY DEADLINE 3pm 11/24/24Name: KodaAnimal ID: A853517Age: 4 yearsWeight: 44.10 lbs.About: Koda, a charming 4-year-old tan mix breed, is a gentle soul with a heart of gold. Having spent most of his life in one loving home, Koda is now searching for a new family to shower him with affection and understanding. This sweet boy loves long walks and even enjoys a brisk run. He`s quite the proud pup, often seen carrying his favorite toys around as if they were his prized possessions. Koda is eager to please and will happily sit for a treat. While Koda can be a loving companion, he has developed some fear-based behaviors. Loud noises or overwhelming environments can trigger barking and, in rare cases, biting. Additionally, Koda isn`t particularly fond of sharing his toys or food. He`ll give a clear warning before resorting to biting, but it`s important to respect his boundaries.Koda`s previous owners have shared that he tends to do better with women and can be wary around men and children. Given his history, Koda would thrive in a quiet home without other pets or children. A patient and understanding owner can help him overcome his fears and become a beloved member of the family.Adoption Process:Interested parties:•Must visit PACC before the 3:00 PM November 24, 2024, deadline to meet with an adoption counselor who will go over notes and then introduce you to ensure that it’s a good fit. •Are encouraged to reach out to a rescue group ASAP (even before coming to PACC), to start the rescue approval process. PLEASE NOTE: This dog is courtesy posted for another individual or Rescue. Different policies and fees may apply. Meet Luke and Leia: The Ultimate Bonded Pair!  Are you ready to welcome not one, but two bundles of joy into your life? Meet Luke and Leia, a dynamic duo whose love for each other is as strong as their love for adventure. These inseparable pals are searching for a forever home that can embrace them both and shower them with the love they deserve. Luke is approx 5 yrs old and Leia approx 4 yrs old.  Luke and Leia are a bonded pair and must stay together—they thrive in each other's company and would be lost without one another. Currently, they are mastering their leash manners and are eager to improve with your guidance. They absolutely love car rides and make fantastic travel companions, though they prefer a feline-free home. Both are crate trained, comfortable, and well-behaved in their crates. They need a yard to run and play in, where they can stretch their legs and have fun. Fully potty trained, Luke and Leia are an easy addition to any home. Luke is neutered, Leia is spayed, and both are microchipped and up-to-date on all vaccinations. While they might be a bit shy at first, with a little patience and a lot of love, they will warm up and show their true, affectionate selves. They both have a sweet spot for treats, which is a fantastic way to win their hearts! These two are a package deal, full of love and ready to bring double the joy to your home. Imagine the fun and laughter you'll share with this playful, loyal pair. They are looking for a patient and loving family to help them continue their journey and grow into the wonderful dogs they are meant to be. If you have the time, patience, and love to give, please consider adopting Luke and Leia. They are ready to fill your home with happiness and love. Contact us today to learn more about Luke and Leia and to arrange a meeting. Let's give this incredible pair the loving home they deserve!
