Meet Mitzi Meet sweet Mitzi! Mitzi is a sweet and tenderhearted dog who is about 2 years old and weighs 16 pounds. We rescued her from a shelter near the border of Mexico. She does have a warm-up period when meeting new people. Once she knows you will be kind to her, she loves to get attention and affection. Coming from the environment she was in previously, it is apparent that she wasn’t handled very much so she just needs time to trust and know that she is in a safe space. She gets along well with the other dogs at the rescue. She would do best in a calm and patient home without small children where she can acclimate to her new surroundings and learn to trust. She is a wonderful dog who just wants a family to call her own! Mitzi is at our rescue near San Antonio and a meet and greet can be arranged with an approved application. She is spayed, up to date on all shots, microchipped and her adoption fee is $325. Meet Bilbo Baggins Bilbo Baggins is about 2 years old, weighs 13 pounds and is a happy, playful dog! He is very sweet, friendly and as you can see in the video, enjoys exploring and playing. He was rescued from a shelter near the border of Mexico. Bilbo has the nicest temperament, and does great with other dogs! Poor darling came in so skinny, and malnourished, it was obvious he was left on the streets to fend for himself. What a shame for such a nice happy boy! He is the cutest little low rider. We can see Bilbo doing well in a home where he can get lots of attention and playtime with his family. He is curious and also enjoys being held. He has a fun personality and is very smart. He enjoys playing with his toys and other dogs here at the shelter. He is just a fun-loving pup who can’t wait to find a home of his own! He would be a wonderful, loyal companion to grow up in just about any family environment. Bilbo is neutered, up-to-date on all vaccinations, microchipped and his adoption fee is $325. And since you're reading this, I'm hoping that you'll consider making ME a part of your family!!!! I was pulled from a local shelter thinking I'd be doing 10 to life but I was so frightened until this rescue got me pulled for scared behavior! I am a tad bit shy at first meet but with some patience and a whole lot of love, I have since blossomed into a very sweet loving gal. I bonded pretty quickly in my foster home but I'd do best in a quieter home where my person could work from home or is retired. I would also do best in a home without small kiddos but I do well with the other dogs in my foster home and love to play with them! I'm probably around 2years old and I come in at about 20lbs. I'm house trained but not so fond of the crate. I do love to be where you are whether it's beside you on the couch or snoozing in my doggie bed beside your computer while you work. I'm pretty mellow and don't need a whole lot of exercise but I do love to sniff everything in the yard and playing with the other pups is just grand!!! I've got a short coat that is super easy in the maintenance department, kind of a wash-n-go type of gal. You do know what that means, don't ya? Yep yep, more time for the spoil me rotten department!!
