Story
Chico is a great house dog. He is potty trained and is good with kids, adults and other pets. He loves to cuddle and sleep buried under blankets. He is a little dog but still is protective of his home and the people in it. When he hears a knock at the door or the doorbell ring, he will bark to let you know that company has arrived. Chico also likes to have time outside to sunbathe and run around and he especially loves walks.

Story
Willie, a 2-year-old Chiweenie weighing 23 lbs, who is the perfect blend of sweet and laid-back. Willie enjoys lounging in his favorite chair, but his playful side comes out when he's wrestling and chasing Dolly, the younger resident dog. Initially shy, Willie has grown comfortable in his environment and loves being close to his people. He has a hearty appetite, gobbling up his food quickly, and has learned to sit for treats. Willie is smart and now fetches the ball with enthusiasm. He has adapted well to the household routine, experiencing only a few accidents and escape attempts early on. He loves sunbathing but prefers to be outside only if someone is nearby. Willie shows concern during thunderstorms, which might explain his past attempts to run. At night, Willie usually sleeps with his humans but sometimes retreats to his favorite chair. If you stir in the morning, he'll jump on the bed to gently nudge you. Willie is a wonderful companion who enjoys both playtime and relaxation, making him a perfect addition to any loving home. *Willie is Heartworm positive and is being treated currently. Story
Nina and her sister Pinta were rescued from the dog pound. We believe these adorable girls are chihuahua/dachshund/pug mixes (the curly tails coming from the pug). Both girls have very soft fur. Nina has a bit of blue in one eye so there is something else in the mix. They are young, probably between one and two years of age. At 19 pounds, Nina is the larger of the two girls. Nina is very affectionate, sweet, and playful. She is shy and relies on her sister, but they are a handful when they are together. They are not bonded and it would be best if Nina went to a home with another small sweet dog to be her friend and give her confidence. Nina is crate-trained but needs some more work with house and obedience training. Her new family should give her plenty of attention and playtime, take her on walks, and give her a lot of cuddles and affection. Nina must be an inside dog and a loved member of the family. She must be walked on a leash and needs a secure, fenced yard to run and play. Nina is spayed, tattooed, fully vaccinated (DAPPvL2, Bordatella, rabies), and microchipped. She is heartworm-negative and receives monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Nina is available for adoption to approved in-state and out-of-state applicants. Her in-state adoption fee is $250, and her out-of-state adoption fee is $450 - which includes the cost of ground transport by a reputable and trusted transport company. She can be transported almost anywhere within the continental United States. Please email 2manydogstx@gmail.com if you would like to adopt this adorable little girl. Story
Pinta and her sister Nina were rescued from the dog pound. We believe they are chihuahua/dachshund/pug mixes (the curly tails coming from the pug). Both girls have very soft fur and they are young, probably between one and two years of age. Pinta is smaller weighing 16 pounds. Pinta is very affectionate, sweet, and playful. She is more outgoing and active. The sisters tend to get into trouble when they are together, therefore we think it would be best if they went to separate homes. Pinta is crate-trained but needs more work with house and obedience training. Pinta loves her people and can be an escape artist. She will not stay in her outdoor kennel because she wants to be in the house with you. She also cannot be left in the backyard when you leave because she will try to escape to follow you. Pinta must be an inside dog and a loved member of the family. Pinta's new family should give her plenty of love, attention, and playtime. She must be walked on a leash and needs a secure, fenced yard to run and play. Pinta is spayed, tattooed, fully vaccinated (DAPPvL2, Bordatella, rabies), and microchipped. Pinta is positive with a low load of heartworms (we are happy to explain). She now receives monthly heartworm and flea prevention. We are using the slow-kill treatment and she should test negative in 6 to 12 months Pinta is available for adoption to approved in-state applicants only. Out-of-state adoption is not possible until she is heartworm-negative. Please email 2manydogstx@gmail.com if you would like to adopt this adorable little girl.
