Story
Whiskey is 7 about to turn 8 years old. He enjoys hanging out, belly rubs, fetching his rope, sitting next to you on the couch and exploring outside. Looking for a loving home that has lots of time for a pet and possibly even others for him to play with. He can be skittish around loud noises (washing machines, fireworks etc) but is usually pretty relaxed. Once he gets used to someone he is always excited to see them. He's grown up with my youngest and we haven't had any issues. He also spent his first couple of years around a cat, who wasn't always the nicest, but Whiskey would try to play with him regardless.

NAME: Sasha Sex: female Color/Pattern: White w tan patches Breed: Chihuahua Rat terrier or Mini Pinscher mix Weight: ~12lbs Age at intake: 2-3 years BDAY approx: ~ June 2022 Intake date : Jan11 Found date: ~ Jan 4 Coat length: short Description Sasha is a tall, lithe chihuahua mix with huge brown eyes. It is impossible to be any sweeter than she is. Personality Who's a Diva? SASHA is a Diva! Belly rubs are NOT OPTIONAL. Leaving the room without her is NOT a thing! Snuggling is mandatory. Kissies are included with every interaction. She is about 2 years old and very well behaved. 12 lbs mini skinny something like a rat terrier or mini pindcher. She does very well with other pets, and loves & adores ALL people. Very slight built with long legs, she is fast and athletic. She waits for you to pick her up though by preference. She lives to bury under the covers with you. Background Sasha followed 2 kids home several weeks ago and no one claimed her. She has a microchip but it was not registered. Sasha showed up and was found by a family last week outside of their home in the cold. After 3 days, they finally took her in and let her stay in their bathroom to stay warm and contacted GNAR for help. The kids were so sad to see her go, but mom said they couldnt keep her. Sasha weighs about 15 lbs and is a very well mannered young lady. She loves to cuddle and uses your shoulder as a pillow while you hold her. She is crate trained, house broken, and good on a leash too. Why would someone throw her out? She obviously was loved by someone. Story
Koby is a medium sizes chiweenie/terrier mix breed, weighing 25-30lbs. He’s is fully vaccinated and neutered. Koby has a happy, energetic, adventurous, and playful personality. He loves being around people, enjoys cuddles, and back scratches. He knows commands like “come”, “sit”, “lay down”, “no”, “wait”, “down”, “potty”. He does get anxious in car rides, and is not very social with other dogs. He may see them as a threat. He does get along well with a family members dog because we took the time to get them acclimated. Even though this is a challenge for him, with the right owner, I believe he could have a better experience socially. This is my hope for him! Due to recent changes in my lifestyle, I feel that it is best to find a loving home for him that can offer him patience and can help him have a more well rounded life!

Stu may have had a rough beginning to his life but that hasn't left him bitter. He is eager to give and receive affection. Stu is his foster mama's shadow; wherever she goes, he follows. He is getting along well with his two dachshund foster sisters, but mostly just wants human attention.  His little face has a lot of character -  you'll have to see the smile on this boy yourself.  Stu will stay in his crate when foster mama leaves the house, but for sleeping he wants to be in the big bed, right next to the object of his affection. He is a little shy and timid at first but has been warming up quickly and showing signs of playfulness, just started giving kisses, and loves belly rubs. His whole coat is velvet-soft, which is perfect for all the hugs and cuddles he wants to give. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.vetting completeArchie is a super sweet boy who loves to chill and take naps.  He will go to the door to potty outside and prefers to be on a leash when out.  He is great with big and small dogs and seems to like men over women, however he will happily accept hugs and pets from both.  Like most dachshunds he seems to have a hearing problem, but Archie's is likely age related.  This sweet boy doesn't have an aggressive bone in his body, not even with food.  Having said that, he is very treat motivated.  His favorite time is the morning where he will  lay by the window in his bed for some sun time and solar charging. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 29, 2024, 12:01 pm
