Story
This is my Chiweenie Winston who is 8 years old and has a calm, sweet nature with occasional bursts of playful energy. He absolutely loves children and enjoys being around people, making him a wonderful companion. He is affectionate, loyal, and gentle, and enjoys both relaxing and short play sessions. I am looking for a patient and loving home that understands small dogs and can continue reinforcing positive feeding habits, as he shows a small amount of food aggression. With consistency and care, he will thrive best in a calm, structured environment where he is treated like family.

Story
Honey is a 6-month-old, 8-pound Chiweenie (Chihuahua/Dachshund mix) who is aptly named as she is sweet as sweet can be. Honey’s sole goal in life is to be petted and loved and told what a pretty girl she is. The very second you sit down, FOOM! She’s in your lap ready for pets and scritches. Wherever you go in the house—to the kitchen, down the hallway, into the bathroom—she will follow. Puppies her age usually like to split their time between play and affections, but not Honey: she wants lovings all the time. Honey lives in a foster home with 6 other dogs and 5 cats, and she gets along well with all of them. If one of the younger dogs pushes her to play, she will, but otherwise, she’d just as soon follow her people about. She’s just a little bit shy at first, but welcomes strangers into the home, sensing the opportunity for more attention and a possible treat. As an older puppy, Honey has her manners down. She doesn’t chew anything. You can leave her alone in the house and come back to find it undisturbed. She is potty-pad trained and mostly housetrained, although you should expect to have to do some work with her in a new home. She is not food aggressive and she rarely barks—only when she senses danger to the home (read: the Amazon guy). She will happily sleep in your bed, but if you don’t allow it, she’ll settle on a nearby chair. She rides well in a car. Honey was found wandering the streets in the Rio Grande Valley. Even with that rough start of life, she is totally trusting of people and loves everybody. She would do fine in either a house or an apartment, with a family, couple or single. She is very adaptable, so long as there is someone there to provide copious amounts of love. Honey’s adoption fee is $275 and includes spay, all shots & microchip. Note: We always respond first to inquiries that tell us something about your living situation (house, apartment, single, family, etc.) and why you want this dog. Be sure to include your phone number in your inquiry. We call inquiries that seem to be a good fit for the dog.

Story
Please Read everything before you show that you are interested. We found him as a baby and have cared for him, but he needs a home where he is treated well and cared for. He’s has had his basic shots for the past two years, i have paid about a hundred each time, nothing fancy. Also he is not used to potty inside but will let you know when he needs to go outside and take care of business. If you expect more from a free dog. Go to a fancy place. Milo is full of energy and healthy, but I would rather that he goes to a person who needs a good companion. My kids don’t care for him anymore. Thats the main reason I am giving him up. he is a little over two years old. Playful and curious.
