This is Buddy, and he can't wait to be yours! Buddy is a sweet young Chihuahua mix that started life off as a feral, until he was caught by a sweet and loving foster. Buddy got the good life after that! Spoiled with treats and given so much love he's developed into a great dog. He's a very friendly boy and does great with pretty much everyone. He would do best in a household with an active family. Buddy does tend to bark at smaller animals so he would do best in a household that doesn't have farm animals or other small pets. Dogs and cats he is fine with, though he has not had much experience with cats. Buddy would do well paired with another calm and confident dog. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)

We are Flynn and Rider! Like thieves in the night we'll steal your heart. Flynn and Rider are absolutely gorgeous and active puppies looking for forever homes to call their own. Flynn is more reserved than Rider but he still loves to go play. He'll come sit by your feet and take in the world around him or he'll try to scamper up on your lap to show you rocks he's found. He loves being up high to get scratchies and watch his brother. Rider is the adventurer, he enjoys sniffing through the grass and pouncing grasshoppers. He likes to get the big dog toys to drag around the yard and have his brother chase him. Rider sits patiently waiting for his turn to get scratchies on your lap. He's so adorable! He's fearless until big trucks rumble by then you'll find him behind your chair! Don't get Tangled in our cute-pie puppy eyes! These pups have healthy appetites but will stop when full, graze later after activities. Their mom has short legs, longer body, pointy ears, narrow face, and a beautiful redish brindle coat. Might be corgi/dachshund mixes or be energetic little terrier dogs. They have cute little legs and look like they waddle from behind! Both like to play, run, and carry things around. They are really good at hustling from their room to door to go outside with "lets go, let's go, hurry, hurry, all the way to the door." Then once out the door "all the way to the gate... no pee pee in the walk way." Then "hurry hurry all the way back to go potty." They bound around in a scurry watching me for praise at their good efforts! Eager to learn, observant, smart. Will walk on leashes together but criss cross a bit so will need individual leash training. They are a little timid with new things in general so slow introductions would be helpful as they learn. They are young and going through a chewing stage so age appropriate chew toys a plus. Have experience with dogs their size. Very timid with big dogs. No experience with cats or children so please introduce them slowly. Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $500 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Calling all small dog lovers…meet your match! Meet Mama M’Lynn! This girl is sweet and spunky all in one; but will require a special home so please make sure to read through the bio before you apply! Mama M’Lynn and her 1 day old babies came to us from our Nashville Metro Animal Care and Control after her owner passed away. She had been living in a car and was very unsure of new people. We will say she has been #momoftheyear and her babies are perfect and now ready for their next phase! And now, it’s this sweet girls turn. M’Lynn can take a minute to warm up, but It doesn’t take long for her to become a puddle of mush to her female caretakers. We have not been able to get her to come around to men or kids. We think it is just too much for her. So, we are looking for a patient, quiet woman or women only home. She loves to go for walks and will do fine with another dog that will give her space….but she will also appreciate a cuddle with another dog every now and then. Could you be the home that completes this girls happy ending? We believe she is a Chi-Weenie mix and weighs around 11 lbs. She does great on a leash, loves her sweaters and a nice warm lap. She is potty trained, crate trained and is sure to make you laugh. She is up to date on vaccines, is scheduled to be spayed, heartworm negative and on prevention. Her adoption fee is $275. Please note that we are a completely volunteer run organization and may take 48 hours to respond. Please make sure to fully complete your application. If responses are not complete, you may not be contacted due to the volume of applications. We can only set up meet and greets once an application has been approved. Thank you for understanding.
