Story
NAME: Paddy (f)    BREED: Chihuahua cross AGE: 8 months WEIGHT: 8 pounds   LIKES: All human interaction, chewing on bones, going for walks, finding mischief to get into.   DISLIKES: Scared of the dark and noises out of nowhere, but she's working on being so brave!    PERSONALITY TRAITS: Paddy is a hyper pup with a wiggly body. She loves humans and other dogs (she plays well with a Pitbull that’s 4 times her size in her foster home). She has no concept of personal space, but she does settle into snuggles after awhile, like a good girl.    POTTY TRAINING STATUS: Paddy is able to hold her bladder for almost 6 hours at this point. She does well going outside and going right to potty.    CRATE TRAINING STATUS: Little Paddy whines for the first few minutes, then settles in, as long as she's got something to chew on. She sleeps just fine in the crate, only making noise when she needs to go out.    EXTRAS/MISC.: She doesn't have a bark, just makes funny pips and squeaks when she's playing. Paddy has been on walks up the butte (on leash) with no problem, and could easily be a good walking or hiking buddy.   To further inquire about PADDY, submit an online application via our website.    https://wigglytails.org   Tell us about yourself, family, other pets, and how PADDY will mesh with your lifestyle.    Qualifying applicants will be contacted by our Adoption Coordinator with next steps and an opportunity to set up a Meet & Greet.    Our process is NOT a “first come, first served” process. Story
NAME: Cowboy   BREED: Chihuahua cross AGE: 2 years old WEIGHT: 15 pounds   LIKES: Cowboy loves anyone who walks through the door. He loves to play with stuffies and chew toys. He likes to run around outside and smell everything he can sniff. He really loves cuddles, too.   DISLIKES: Cowboy does not like being left alone or having to sleep in a crate.    PERSONALITY TRAITS: Cowboy loves to be with people. He will sit on your lap, or next to you, while you work. This boy is full of energy and wants to play. He has zero food aggression, and loves a good treat.   POTTY TRAINING STATUS: He potties outside when kept on a regular schedule.   CRATE TRAINING STATUS: Cowboy does not love being in a crate, but will settle down and sleep in one at night.   EXTRAS/MISC.: He is very good with children and other pets, though it may take him a moment to warm up to other dogs. (Supervised introductions will be key to a successful meeting with new dog friends.) He loves chew toys, and leaves human things alone.   Cowboy is a love and would be happy if he was cuddled all day.   To further inquire about COWBOY, submit an online application via our website.    https://wigglytails.org   Tell us about yourself, family, other pets, and how COWBOY will mesh with your lifestyle.    Qualifying applicants will be contacted by our Adoption Coordinator with next steps and an opportunity to set up a Meet & Greet.    Our process is NOT a “first come, first served” process.
