Let me introduce myself, I'm Dusty. I came to be here cuz my momma got accidently pregnant. So I'm here looking for a family, a home...one that I can say will be ALL mine! I'm just a lil munchkin at almost 3 months and will stay on the small size when I get myself all the way growed up. I'm sweet, active, playful and just ready to explore...everywhere. I'm at that spongey stage in life where I'm soaking up everything! I'm a very social fella that loves people both tall and small but I do have those sharp lil nails and teeth yet. I love playing with my siblings and the other resident pups here at my foster home. I haven't had a chance yet to meet any of those creatures y'all call a cat but at my tender age, I'm sure I'd be just fine with them too. I've got a super sweet nature that is loving, playful and snuggly (if you can get me to hold still) that would love to be your lil blob of clay to be molded into the bestest family addition...could it possibly be YOUR family?!! Story
Elmer is that old grizzled regular at the local bar who seemed hateful, but always had a quarter for a kid to win a prize from the claw machine. Life has made him quick to defend himself so you have to be willing to approach a relationship slowly, once he realizes you have lived life and faced challenges, you two will be trading war stories over a soft blanky in no time. An 8-pound chihuahua mix, we believe him to be approximately 8 years young with a zest for life. Even though he has been said to not like all men, the men he's met so far he's been okay with. He did better while taking pictures with Santa, than most children. Elmer gets nervous in new environments, we think a home with a battle buddy would be beneficial. Another doggo to help show him the ropes and understand he's safe. Elmer gets along fine with all dogs, big and small in his foster home. Although he is friendly, proper decompression time will be a key to his success. Elmer is reluctant to get in his crate, once he is in it, he will bark and grumble for a short time but will eventually settle down. When he is let out of his crate, he will jump up while walking to the door to go outside to do his business. Elmer shows his affection by covering you in kisses and being super snuggly with his cuddles. He's a dog that doesn't know how to hold his licker... so be prepared for lots of PDA (Elmer's teeth look really good for his age, very little tarter and "decent" breath!) He is definitely a dog that needs time to adjust to change, but once you are in you are totally in, and when he loves you, he loves you with all his heart. His adoption fee is $210. He is neutered, current on vaccinations, Heartworm negative, and he is microchipped. If you would like to meet this cute little guy and possibly add him to your family, please complete an application today. All of our animals are vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed/neutered before being adopted.

Pipsqueak may be his name, but don't let it fool you--this little one is feisty and not afraid to show it! Pipsqueak is a lover, not a fighter--unless you happen to be a brush, that is! He loves cuddling, and he's the perfect size to be a lap-warmer. Pipsqueak loves playing with other dogs but would prefer cats keep their distance. This chihuahua can be a little grumpy sometimes and reluctant to change his ways, but he has a heart of gold. Pipsqueak walks well on a leash and and loves any opportunity to let the breeze ruffle his mane.
