Hi! My name is Parker. I am a really sweet little guy and I am just looking for my furever home! I am 10 weeks old (born around 7-25-24), weigh about 3 pounds, and I love dogs, cats and kids. I am doing so well with all of them in my foster home in South Carolina! I am neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, dewormed, current with all vaccines (as appropriate for my age) and on flea and heartworm prevention. We rescued 17 dachshund and chiweenies in August. They had not been socialized, their owner died in the house. We are slowly working with these babies and the ones we feel are ready, we get fixed and find them homes. These babies will need a patient family who will work with getting them comfortable in a new house. They may be flight risks so will need to be monitored all the time. Some have been adopted already and have done well. They are not used to being petted, picked up or touched.They are not used to kids so slow introductions will be needed but we don’t see them not liking kids. They are such brave little ones that we are determined they will all eventually get new homes. Ranger is the tallest of the group, not sure what gene is in there! He likes to walk his ‘perimeter’ and bark at anyone who comes near. He likes to play although they aren’t sure how to. He has the little dog energy and would be great with any family. He is located in Tennessee but can be transported to you though Rescue Riders.

Abby is a 2 year old Chiweenie female who is 11 lbs. Abby is the sweetest pup who loves to snuggle on the couch and play fetch for a toy. Abby loves the company of another dog and needs a fenced in yard to play. Abby uses washable wee wee pads and/or the yard to potty. Abby really only barks when she is excited about going outside- she is so happy for outdoor time. Abby loves toys and to snuggle and doesn't even mind the cold weather with a little sweater but deep down we know she's a summer girl ! Abby is spayed and has all shots for the year. She is not on any medications other than flea/tick/heartworm preventatives. Adopt Abby today ! Bennie, along with 8 other pups, was rescued from being sold for meat at the side of the road in China as puppies. He is now roughly 7 months old and up to date with vaccines, neutered and ready for his forever family. Bennie is a LOVE bug! He is very playful with all the dogs and a very sweet boy. He can be adopted to anyone in the US willing to pickup at LAX or JFK.

Meet Boogie! Boogie is an adorable long bodied chiweenie mix that weighs 10 pounds and 3 to 4 years old. Boogie can be a little shy at first but warms up fast! His favorite game is tug of war and he also takes pleasure in cuddling with his person while they watch t.v. Boogie does okay on leash but will need a bit more work to make walks fun and exciting! Boogie does great at using the doggy door or pee pad and still needs a little confidence building with the crate. Interested in becoming a forever home for Boogie Dentwood? This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses. All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed.
