Another TINY cutie this week! 6m old Dio a baby chiweenie who sadly was dumped at a kill shelter after owner was given him as a gift from a friend and could no longer keep because they wanted an older dog! Please make sure to read ALL info below BEFORE applying. NO applications accepted by anyone under the age of 25 please (parent or guardian must apply) and you MUST have dog experience. He is just a mini doll who can not wait to give u kisses and snuggles. He was given to Rock n' Rescue after her owner dumped him after a friend "gifted" the pup for no reason - luckily our southern partner stepped in to help and let us know he was safe and happy and ADORABLE - he then entered our rescue program and were super spoiled because they simply deserved to be over loved after his sad story! He was given the best of the best care and now he is ready to be a big boy all on his own. Dio is at 10 lbs so perfect size for a new family looking for a tiny dog!! He is simply kisses love and cuddles! SOOOO SWEET and will be perfect for those looking for all around great family dog as as he is small for life and is super trainable at this young age! He is very playful and would love an active family preferably with another playful dog as he is happy with dogs cats and kids and loves to be a part of the whole family. He is crate and house training very well - almost 100% perfect and is just a smart lil' dude when it comes to training. Can't be a better fit for most families! Dio is truly special and are coming a long way for love. Again he will likely grow to be a small under 15 lb dog - not toy small but not too big. WE DO NOT DNA TEST for breeds so you adopt and love what you get no matter what tests tell you or do not apply... Dio at his size seems to be pretty much a full ChiWeenie but we do not DNA test - He has had vaccines and been neutered and he has been microchipped and given all preventatives. Minimum donation required. Out of state adopters MUST pick up in Bedford Hills NY - no exceptions. WE DO NOT TRANSPORT

Meet Bella, an 8-year-old sweetheart who is looking for a loving home where she can continue to share her gentle nature. At 23 pounds, Bella is the perfect "fun-size" dog—she's got all the loving qualities of a black lab, but in a compact, easy-to-manage body. Our best guess is that she’s a chiweenie (dachshund/chihuahua). With a little diet and exercise, she would ideally be around 18 pounds, making her even more of an adorable package. Bella's previous owners recently had to move into assisted living so she was surrendered over to us and has adjusted well to her new environment. Bella gets along wonderfully with people of all ages, as well as with other dogs and even cats. In her foster home, she enjoys the company of four other senior dogs and has been a model of calm and patience, rarely barking even when the others are quite vocal. More than anything, Bella loves snuggling with her humans on the couch and receiving endless hugs. She has a sweet disposition that will fit into any home, making her the perfect little companion. A quiet, easygoing girl, Bella is well-behaved on a leash and knows basic commands like "sit" and "paw." She listens intently and is eager to please, making her a joy to train and interact with. Bella is housetrained and a perfect lady, never getting into trouble. This young boy was part of a hoarding case and will need some extra work. Bonzo is pretty friendly but very shy/scared. He wants to be loved but is unsure about people. He has never bit or growled at anyone and will let people hold him. He is just trying to figure out what it means to be petted. He will back away when reaching for him but has gotten better at not trying to get away. He likes to have another dog his size around, hasn’t been with bigger dogs, and does like to play. He's just a shy type who will need a patient person/family to get him comfortable enough to get out of his shell. He is located in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders.
