Another TINY cutie this week! 6m old Dio a baby chiweenie who sadly was dumped at a kill shelter after owner was given him as a gift from a friend and could no longer keep because they wanted an older dog! He is just a mini doll who can not wait to give u kisses and snuggles. He was given to Rock n' Rescue after her owner dumped him after a friend "gifted" the pup for no reason - luckily our southern partner stepped in to help and let us know he was safe and happy and ADORABLE - he then entered our rescue program and were super spoiled because they simply deserved to be over loved after his sad story! He was given the best of the best care and now he is ready to be a big boy all on his own. Dio is at 10 lbs so perfect size for a new family looking for a tiny dog!! He is simply kisses love and cuddles! SOOOO SWEET and will be perfect for those looking for all around great family dog as as he is small for life and is super trainable at this young age! He is very playful and would love an active family preferably with another playful dog as he is happy with dogs cats and kids and loves to be a part of the whole family. He is crate and house training very well - almost 100% perfect and is just a smart lil' dude when it comes to training. Can't be a better fit for most families! Dio is truly special and are coming a long way for love. Again he will likely grow to be a small under 15 lb dog - not toy small but not too big. WE DO NOT DNA TEST for breeds so you adopt and love what you get no matter what tests tell you or do not apply... Dio at his size seems to be pretty much a full ChiWeenie but we do not DNA test - He has had vaccines and been neutered and he has been microchipped and given all preventatives. Minimum donation required. Out of state adopters MUST pick up in Bedford Hills NY - no exceptions. WE DO NOT TRANSPORT

Hi! My name is Parker. I am a really sweet little guy and I am just looking for my furever home! I am 10 weeks old (born around 7-25-24), weigh about 3 pounds, and I love dogs, cats and kids. I am doing so well with all of them in my foster home in South Carolina! We rescued 17 dachshund and chiweenies in August. They had not been socialized, their owner died in the house. We are slowly working with these babies and the ones we feel are ready, we get fixed and find them homes. These babies will need a patient family who will work with getting them comfortable in a new house. They may be flight risks so will need to be monitored all the time. Some have been adopted already and have done well. They are not used to being petted, picked up or touched.They are not used to kids so slow introductions will be needed but we don’t see them not liking kids. They are such brave little ones that we are determined they will all eventually get new homes. Ranger is the tallest of the group, not sure what gene is in there! He likes to walk his ‘perimeter’ and bark at anyone who comes near. He likes to play although they aren’t sure how to. He has the little dog energy and would be great with any family. He is located in Tennessee but can be transported to you though Rescue Riders.

Abby is a 2 year old Chiweenie female who is 11 lbs. Abby is the sweetest pup who loves to snuggle on the couch and play fetch for a toy. Abby loves the company of another dog and needs a fenced in yard to play. Abby uses washable wee wee pads and/or the yard to potty. Abby really only barks when she is excited about going outside- she is so happy for outdoor time. Abby loves toys and to snuggle and doesn't even mind the cold weather with a little sweater but deep down we know she's a summer girl ! Abby is spayed and has all shots for the year. She is not on any medications other than flea/tick/heartworm preventatives. Adopt Abby today !
