Story
Rosie is full of personality. Rosie lived with a 3 yr old child and was unflappable. When taken into stores she loves the attention of young children and is very gentle with them. Rosie loves walks and car rides. She is non confrontational with other dogs and fine with cats. She has her “ blanket” which is wraps herself up in like a burrito. She will sing with you, she will sit up on her legs to get your attention. She is very sweet and affectionate and will sleep in bed with you if you let her. She is up to date on rabies and had a recent heartworm test( neg). She is microchipped. Her health is great and she has no health issues. She can go up and down stairs with easy and is quite athletic. Her adoption includes a brand new coat, harness, leash and collar and her transport up from the panhandle of Fla. A perfection adoption for her would be a “young” senior couple who are active and can take her for walks and grandchildren for her to play with is a plus. Another great home would be a stay at home mom. Visit us on Fb for more on Rosie. She is fostered with the rescue founder in Thurmont, Md. Text 845-671-0345 for next step.

Story
Honey is a 9 yr old chi-weenie mix who needs a loving, patient home. She’s sweet, and loves cuddling, car rides, and lounging. Honey enjoys walks, is food motivated, and is great with small children and other animals. While she can be picky about her company, she is loyal and loving to those she trusts. She’ll warm up to new people with patience and training—she got used to two of my exes this way. I’m rehoming her b/c I just moved & my new 60-hr work weeks are unfair to her. She’d thrive in a quiet suburbia where she can feel safe, as the city and noise makes her anxious. She can be an only child, as she was, before I started fostering her “cat cousins”. I think she would REALLY thrive w/ a confident dog around. When I got her, she was dog besties with a bigger dog. Honey is the perfect companion for anyone seeking a gentle, alert, and affectionate friend to brighten their day, and can provide her with a stable, calm environment — with the intent to boost her confidence ❤️.

Story
Nina and her sister Pinta were rescued from the dog pound. We believe these adorable girls are chihuahua/dachshund/pug mixes (the curly tails coming from the pug). Both girls have very soft fur. Nina has a bit of blue in one eye so there is something else in the mix. They are young, probably between one and two years of age. At 19 pounds, Nina is the larger of the two girls. Nina is very affectionate, sweet, and playful. She is shy and depends on her more confident sister. But they are not bonded. Pinta has heartworms and cannot be transported until they are gone. So Nina will need a home with another small sweet dog to be her friend and give her confidence. Nina is crate-trained but needs some more work with house and obedience training. Her new family should give her plenty of attention and playtime, take her on walks, and give her a lot of cuddles and affection. Nina must be an inside dog and a loved member of the family. She must be walked on a leash and needs a secure, fenced yard to run and play. Nina is spayed, tattooed, fully vaccinated (DAPPvL2, Bordatella, rabies), and microchipped. She is heartworm-negative and receives monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Nina is located in Texas but can be transported after she is adopted. Her adoption includes the cost of ground transport by a reputable and trusted transport company. Scheduled stops include, but are not limited to, Hagerstown or Linthicum Heights MD. Please email 2manydogstx@gmail.com if you would like to adopt this adorable little girl. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.NOTE- SOLOMON IS LISTED AS A COURTESY FOR AN INDIVIDUAL ASKING TO REHOME THEIR DOG. Solomon is a 7-year-old min pin and chihuahua mix I believe, and he loves to sing.  He loves to listen to music and some of his favorite artists are Michael Jackson, Chris Brown and Drake. Solomon is house broken and loves to sit and watch people out of the front door and windows.  He loves being outside and loves walks in the park and around the neighborhood.  Solomon does not tear things up like mail, toilet paper, socks, or trash.  He also loves to cuddle and be rubbed.  Solomon hates baths and water but I give him a bath anyway telling him that he has to be clean. He loves treats and his favorite treat is duck wrapped sweet potato from Wal Mart.  Solomon loves bones and his favorite toy is Lamb Chop or any bear that he can tussle with.   Solomon does growl sometimes when he sees other dogs and cats. He also runs after birds if he sees them and barks. Slow introductions are needed with dogs, cats, and children. Solomon does get protective of his person, so he would do best in a home with no children and perhaps just one adult that he can bond with. If you are interested in adopting Solomon, please go to www.reachoutrescue.org and fill out an application and we will forward it to his caretaker for review. This sweet, sweet boy has been raised and cared for with great love and kindness, but suddenly he has been uprooted from his lifelong home and scheduled to be killed for no reason other than his family was broken and he had nowhere to go. Rescue stepped in at the last moment and we are so happy we did. He is perfectly housebroken, up to date on all his shots, loves other dogs, cats, has shown himself to be fine with children. In short, he is the whole package of a great dog! The part about loving other dogs? He was living with his best friends, Kyler, Mackie, and Nala when his world crashed. They all loved each other  and did perfectly together. If you were thinking of getting a pair of dogs (or more?), here they are, ready made and easy. Those dogs are listed also on our site and up for adoption. You can see how cute they are! Enjoy looking! We will be happy to processs you for more than one, or just one. Peanut deserves the very best, and that person just might be YOU! Peanut's current foster has requested he go to a home with at least one other dog. If you are interested in Peanut, please fill out an application at: https://reachoutrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=4588    Or contact: rorrcanine@gmail.com   *** Click here to sponsor this dog! ***Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 5, 2024, 5:13 pm
