From her soulful eyes to her little white socks, tiny 8 lbs Marisa is beyond adorable! She is a 3 year old Chiweenie and has not had an easy life so she is a little cautious at first. wisely assessing anything or anyone new but warms up to be playful and loving. She will be very devoted to the lucky person who adopts her. Marisa would do best in an adult home and would not mind a fur brother or sister. This little girl has been a great momma to her puppies (Henry and Levi) and now deserves to be spoiled and pampered. Marisa is spayed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. We require adopters to have a safe and secure backyard - not electric or Fido fences as they are not as safe at containing dogs or keeping other animals or people out. For these reasons we do not adopt to homes with electric or Fido fencing. The adoption is $500, which includes age appropriate vaccines, microchip, monthly flea, tick and heart worm preventatives at time of adoption.

Story
Elmo is an adorable Chiweenie fella. He is 6 years old and weighs 13 lbs. Elmo (and also posted Snickers) were pulled from a shelter immediately after their owner dropped off them off there. Owner claimed to be sick and no longer able to provide proper care. Elmo is very outgoing. Fun. Likes to run and play. Good with cats. Good with other dogs.Good on leash and in car. Likes to be held. Ok in crate. He gets little bites kibble or wet food. Likes treats. Elmo is located in Ripley,TN (West TN). Story
We rescued 17 dachshund and chiweenies in August. They had not been socialized, their owner died in the house. We are slowly working with these babies and the ones we feel are ready, we get fixed and find them homes. These babies will need a patient family who will work with getting them comfortable in a new house. They may be flight risks so will need to be monitored all the time. Some have been adopted already and have done well. They are not used to being petted, picked up or touched.They are not used to kids so slow introductions will be needed but we don’t see them not liking kids. They are such brave little ones that we are determined they will all eventually get new homes. Ranger is the tallest of the group, not sure what gene is in there! He likes to walk his ‘perimeter’ and bark at anyone who comes near. He likes to play although they aren’t sure how to. He has the little dog energy and would be great with any family. He is located in Tennessee but can be transported to you though Rescue Riders.

Story
Chloe is an amazing little pup who is about 5-6 years old and weighs 9 lbs. Chloe is a chiweenie mix, she has a long body and small head. She is not getting any bigger. This little girl is so sweet and just full of love. At first, she is a little timid and can be a bit scared. After a few days, she will start coming around and she is the funniest, cuddliest tiny baby you’ll meet. Chloe LOVES other dogs and would thrive with another dog in the house as she does lack confidence. She has been living with 3 other dogs and 2 cats in the home. She loves to cuddle with her fur-siblings if you’re not available to cuddle. She fears younger children as they can be loud and move fast. Children are okay if they’re calmer and understand patience with Chloe. Chloe LOVES her food and is very food and treat motivated. Chloe is pad/house trained and she is crate trained. She knows to jump on the couch or bed to cuddle, watch TV and sleep. At night she will put herself under your blankets as she gets cold quite easily. Her favorite spot to sleep above all else is in your neck. She will climb to the top of the couch or to your pillows and just curl up in the crook of your neck and fall asleep. She is not a big fan of leashes but can learn to walk on one. An ideal home for Chloe would be one with gentle children and somebody with patience (in the beginning) to allow Chloe time to decompress and come out of her shell. When she learns to trust you, she gets the zoomies and is one of the best dogs you’ll ever have. She is very loyal and loves her humans endlessly. Chloe is spayed, current on vaccinations, microchipped, and will have a health certificate from a veterinarian giving her a clean bill of health. Story
Jade loves kids and other dogs. In fact, we think she would do best in a home with another dog to give her confidence and to play with. However, she is proven to be okay as an only dog as well, just more nervous. Does not bark or cry. Not yappy at all like the typical breed. Has never nipped or growled. Loves our baby and is very gentle. 100% crate and potty trained. Spayed. Graduated puppy training class (she turned 1 in July). She’s truly a lovely dog. We’re only rehoming due to our own personal medical journey. Happy to answer any and all questions! We’re looking for her perfect home.
