Story
Lala is a very sweet girl, but she will need a couple days to get used to her home. She started off in foster care snapping and scared. It didn’t take her long to adjust, she just needs some time to adapt to her new surrounding. She seems to be potty trained, will go out when told (except first thing in the morning. She likes to sleep in). She recently had a dental. Older or no kids is best for her. She is located in Greeley.

Story
Hi! My name is Coco, I am guessed to be a 2.5 yr old Chihuahua and I am a super sweet boy. I’m back to Big Bones because my first adoption didn’t work. It’s not my fault things didn’t work out. I just need a different family with no kids or older kids that respect my space. I don’t remember being a newborn puppy, but something really scary must have happened, because I’m very skittish. I need a family with a lot of time, patience and love to help me become the dog I can be. My current adult human is very busy, and there’s a 9-year-old human here that is not my favorite. She’s not mean, but she’s a little loud, moves a little too quickly, and sometimes she’s a little too unpredictable for my comfort. When I came to this home, the 9-year-old wanted to become best friends. but I prefer to have a home without kids. I am just not used to them. We tried for more than a year, and the adult human, has decided that there’s a better home out there for me. So, we’re on a quest to find me that home. Here’s some more about me: - I have cute tails wags and run in happy circles when my people come home. - When the only human in the house is my adult human, I’m still a bit jumpy, but I’m pretty well adjusted. I like hopping up on the bed and snuggling, especially if I can get under the nice warm covers or chomp on my rawhide bone. - I typically get along well with the other pets in my home (one dog and two cats). We play and sometimes we even groom each other. There are times I get on their nerves and get hissed or growled at. But, I’m the baby brother. And what baby brother doesn’t get on their siblings’ nerves sometimes - I am not a fan of strangers. If they look at me, I run away. - When I get scared, I like to run into my crate so I can have my space. So, hopefully, my new home will have a crate or safe space for me. Especially in the early days. - I have some accidents in my house. My adult says that’s mostly because our walks aren’t often enough or long enough (we live in a condo, so I don’t have a backyard). I would probably pick up house training faster with a safe fenced yard. - I saw the vet in January and got a clean bill of health. Though the vet did say I’m a bit overweight. I am am being fostered by my current family until I find new home. If I sound like a good fit, I am waiting in Broomfield and I look forward to meeting you!

Story
Hi, Milo the Cuddlebug here! I am guessed to be a 4 yr old Dachshund mix, around 14 lbs. I am a gentle soul, who loves cuddling next to you or on your lap, soaking up all of the affection I can get. My foster family gives me lots of love and it is WON.DER.FUL! I came to Big Bones Canine Rescue from Tijuana, Mexico via a transport from California. I was very sick and injured when I was found in Mexico in July 2024, but I was nursed back to health and then recently came to Colorado in January 2025. I am enjoying hanging out with my foster siblings who are all about my size. I also really enjoy my socialization outings to Lowe's or the mall. I have enjoyed meeting lots of new people, including kids, especially ones with treats. I also recently met a kitty and that was cool. Finally, I am starting to enjoy toys and occasional play sessions with my foster siblings. My foster family thinks I would really enjoy having a canine companion in the house, especially when our people leave. I don't have separation anxiety; I just really enjoy physical affection and time with my people as it restores my soul. Come and meet me in Aurora.
