Meet Adorable Dasher, a charming Red Chiweenie mix who is ready to find his forever home! At just nine months old and weighing in at 13 pounds, this little guy has a delightful dachshund face paired with long legs that make him unique. Dasher’s journey started in an orchard, where a kind-hearted person rescued him. When he arrived, he was very thin and struggling, having survived on olives. Thankfully, with a little TLC, he is now thriving! He enjoys his meals from a slow-feed puzzle bowl, which keeps him entertained and eating slow which helps him gain strength. Handsome Dasher has quickly settled into life at the sanctuary, where he enjoys the comforts of a warm bed and plenty of love. He’s friendly with other dogs and loves to play, making him a great companion for any pet lover. He has learned to navigate the doggie door but will need some help with house training. Additionally, he could use some more leash training to help him stroll confidently on walks. Dasher is scheduled to be neutered and is currently vaccinated and microchipped, making him ready for adoption. Meet Wardy! ? This stunning boy has a story of resilience and hope. Wardy came to us from a local shelter, where he was heartbreakingly placed on the euthanasia list for being "fearful." However, Wardy has proven that labels can be deceiving—he’s far from fearful! In fact, he’s a social butterfly who adores meeting new people and quickly charms everyone with his sweet personality. Wardy is an outdoor enthusiast and absolutely loves going for walks, where he eagerly explores his surroundings. He’s also a perfect travel companion, riding calmly and happily in the car.
