COH Raisin is a 7 month old spayed female playful Chiweenie and Jack Russell Terrier Mix. She was found in the city of Hawthorne is astray and we’re grateful she made it into our hands that we could help get her to the perfect home. She loves to play with toys would be great with kids and will kiss you to let you know how much she loves you. We hold an event every weekend at our facility on SATURDAY and SUNDAY 11-5pm and open to the public. It is first come first serve we do not evaluate applications prior to an event. If there are multiple interested parties in the same dog or puppy at the same time we would pick the best out of the 10 applications. Please visit our social media platforms for the specifics for each weekend as it changes from week to week. The Lovejoy Foundation, Inc. does not adopt beyond a 30 mile radius from our headquarters in Inglewood. * The first step is to complete an adoption application on our website roversretreat.org * Santana is ready for her furever home We rescued mama Santana and her babies from Riverside shelter back in May. She gave birth to puppies in the shelter, but only two survived. Her babies are now 5 months old and happy and healthy (available for adoption too), so now it’s time to find mama the home she deserves. Santana is the sweetest little girl. She is small, just over 10 pounds, but still loves her long walks. We don't know her mix, but our best guess would be some kind of Dachshund mix... She is super cuddly once comfortable, but does take a little while to warm up. She loves other dogs and has lived with cats and done well, too. She is learning how much fun toys and bones are and is coming out of her shell more and more everyday. She will thrive with a patient person looking for an affectionate little lap dog who still loves being active and doing things. Meet Lila!! Lila was rescued from abusive owner by our Dorothy Rescue. She is a sweet a smart Jindo mix girl who wants to be loved :) Behaviours from foster home : Lila is such a sweetheart who is smart and loves her hoomans! She is a bit timid and shy at first time. She would be appreciate it, if you could give her some time get used to her new family and new environment :) She is good with other doggie friends. She also catches other dog's signal quickly, so she won't bother the other dog if they don't want to hang out. She is that smart ;) She is good with adults and kids, as well. Though, she'd like your slow and gentle approach to her. Please give her some time to get used to you and wait for her to feel comfortable and let her come to you :) She has good walking manner, as well. She absolutely loves walking! and She does her business only outside. She isn't a big barker and she has no separation anxiety. She is also crate trained, and she's never showed aggressive behavior. Also, she doesn't get carsick, so- you can enjoy car drive with her :D Lila may be a bit shy and timid at first time, but she is such a sweetheart and she is very gentle and loving~ Would you be her loving pawrents? :) Allergy/health issues : She hasn't showed any allergy issue. She does not have any health issue. But, sadly.. She lost her right hind leg because of her abusive previous owner... There were a number of dangerous moments during her treatment, but she stayed strong and she fought for her life. Now, she is a healthy and happy dog who loves running around and being loved. We are very proud of her!!!
