A message from her foster: Madonna's behavior wise she is awesome! She never barks, or whines. She gets along great with my other dogs. She likes to snuggle and loves playtime, squeaky toys, bully sticks,and lying in the sunshine. She is pretty good about doing her business outside but not 100 potty-trained. She is very low maintenance as far as puppy’s go! Be ready to adopt. Adoptions can happen quickly so be prepared for our call, only apply for dogs that every family member in the home wants, and wait to apply until you return from your vacation. Please fill out our online application and our adoption counselor will reach out to you to discuss meeting your new family member. Chiweenies are most definitely good dogs. With proper care, love and attention, Chiweenies can also make wonderful companions and the best of friends.

This little man has been through IT! We pulled him from a city shelter after we received a plea that he was attacked by another dog in the kennel and was in bad shape. He also lost his ear and it was severely infected. He has made a full recovery physically but he is sometimes head shy with new people so you have to take it slow with him and let him move at his pace. He is probably younger than he appears but had a hard life before being rescued. He is fine with other dogs and cats. He would also be happy as the only pet. Crate trained, working on house training, great on leash, not a barker.

This little man is a heartbreaker. So sweet and calm, he’s the perfect companion for someone that is not too athletic and would prefer to have a calm energy dog. He was found as a stray, scared, hungry, dirty. Thankfully someone reached out to our friends at HOPE FOR PAWS and they jumped into action and got him to safety. He’s completely vetted, healthy, happy and ready for the next chapter…a forever home.

This is adorable little fella is Simon. Simon is an 11 mos old Chiweenie aka a Dachshund and Chihuahua . He weighs about 13 lbs. He is the biggest lovebug and so affectionate. He loves to run and palm, going on walks and has recently become a great hiking buddy. He gets along great with other dogs, but is just as happy being spoiled as an only dog. We would love Simon to find a home with a family looking for a best buddy who they want to do everything with. He will be in turn your bestest friend ever. I came to SPARC as a very pregnant stray and went into a foster home to await the birth of my puppies. I gave birth to two beautiful little ones who have quickly been adopted. Now it`s my turn!
