Story
Mochi is a sweet, 27lb and moderate energy “chiweeniebull” looking for his furever family. He was adopted from a local rescue as a family surrender (where he was originally a member of a 4 dog and 4 human household). He has been living in a single person (no other dogs) household and his adjustment has been a challenge without a pack family and mild SA, so he would thrive in a bigger family with other furry friends (esp an older sibling). He is socialized with dogs smaller and bigger than him and does well with dog intros at the park, doggy day care and with neighbors’ dogs. Day to day, Mochi loves hanging on the couch, figuring out an enrichment or food puzzle, playing with a squeaky toy or being near his human for pets and cuddles. Mochi knows basic commands, goes for morning and evening walks (30-40 mins each) and is a solid loose leash walker, highly food motivated and housetrained (he sleeps in his crate at night). Will also include: crate, harness, wet/dry food & fave toys!

Story
Meet Wardy! ? This stunning boy has a story of resilience and hope. Wardy came to us from a local shelter, where he was heartbreakingly placed on the euthanasia list for being "fearful." However, Wardy has proven that labels can be deceiving—he’s far from fearful! In fact, he’s a social butterfly who adores meeting new people and quickly charms everyone with his sweet personality. Wardy is an outdoor enthusiast and absolutely loves going for walks, where he eagerly explores his surroundings. He’s also a perfect travel companion, riding calmly and happily in the car. When it comes to canine friendships, Wardy is a superstar! He’s incredibly dog-friendly and would make a wonderful second dog, whether your current pup is big or small. With his striking red brindle coat and unique long, low, and stocky build, Wardy is truly one of a kind. At just 14 pounds, he’s a compact little package of love and energy. At approximately 3 years old, Wardy is the perfect age—past the puppy phase but full of youthful enthusiasm. Wardy would thrive in an active home that can keep up with his zest for life. Despite his tough start, he’s embracing his second chance with enthusiasm. He’s currently working on house training and making great progress, thanks to his eagerness to please and food-motivated nature. We don’t know why Wardy ended up in the shelter, but what matters most is that he’s left that chapter behind. He’s ready to start a new life with a family who will love and commit to him forever. If you’re looking for a loyal, friendly, and energetic companion, Wardy is your guy! ? To begin the adoption process, please submit an application using the link below. Story
Meet Tia! This 4-year-old, 30-pound girl is as unique as she is charming, with a beautiful merle coat and a personality that will warm your heart. Tia is a sunshine-lover who delights in quiet, peaceful walks around the neighborhood and is happiest when she has a cozy spot to relax by your side. Tia’s initial shyness means she takes a little time to trust new people, but once she does, her love and loyalty know no bounds. Although a bit unsure on the leash at first, Tia is making steady progress with each walk, thanks to her dedicated foster family. She’s fully house-trained, and has a funny, endearing personality that will keep you smiling. In a prior home, she even lived with a dog-savvy cat. Tia would thrive with a patient, understanding adopter who can give her time to settle in and gain confidence. Ideally, she'd love a home with a confident and mellow, male dog friend who can show her the ropes. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who enjoys quiet days at home and just needs a little extra time to open up, Tia might be your perfect match! Story
This adorable pup-fluencer is famous for loving treats and looking cute with her tongue hanging out. Taylor is a sweet girl who loves taking sunbeam snoozles after a long day of filming her hit reality TV show, the Secret Lives of Senior Mutts. And you won't believe the latest drama. DogTok is never going to survive this. Here's some notes from her foster: Looking for the perfect addition to your family? Meet Taylor Frankie Paul, the ultimate companion! Taylor is the kind of dog that dreams are made of—sweet, cuddly, and just the right amount of spunky. She’s a lap dog at heart, soaking up every ear scratch and sunny nap she can get. But don’t let her chill vibes fool you; she’s a pro at showing off! She knows commands like “sit” and “speak,” and her signature spin for treats will leave you smiling every time. Taylor is a quiet housemate who only barks briefly when the doorbell rings—then she’s back to her calm, happy self. She adores her daily walks, easily tackling stairs and even a couple of miles with ease. She’s learning to stay focused on her strolls, even when other dogs are nearby. Potty training? Nailed it. Taylor always lets you know when she needs to go out, and she’s never had an accident indoors. She’s also perfectly content when left alone at home, but when you return? Prepare for the most enthusiastic, tail-wagging welcome ever! Taylor’s favorite hobbies include giving kisses, sharing amusing little dances, and stealing hearts with her adorable face. She’s been an amazing companion to us, including our 8-year-old son, and she’s ready to be your loyal bestie, too. If you’re ready to meet your new furry soulmate, Taylor Frankie Paul is waiting to light up your life! Don’t miss out on the chance to make her a part of your family. Adopt Taylor today!

Story
This sweet and delicate senior chug (chihuahua + pug) is ready to find her perfect home! A wonderful combination of everything delicious, you'll fall in love at first bite with her soft, blonde fur, gentle demeanor, and expressive face despite being blind. Don't be alarmed, her visual impairments don't stop her from living her best life - she navigates the world with grace and a heart full of love! Lemon Ricotta thrives on gentle handling and soft cuddles, and her sweetness is sure to melt your heart. If you can appreciate this unique sweetheart for the perfection she is, come meet her today! Here's some notes from her foster: We are having the best time with this sweet sweet girl. She reminds us so much of our pug mix and has us laughing and cooing over her fun personality and absurdly cute self. She has been turning heads across North Beach as she gets carried to and from the park for her walks (the park is only 3 blocks away, but walking on busy streets is a bit much for this slow moving senior - she seems to be adjusting to being guided on a leash). So far she is uninterested in grass, but really enjoys sniffing the dirt, sand, and wood chips while walking in large circles. She’s also done great on quick walks around the block finding so much to sniff and explore in the tree basins on our street. She is such a curious pup! She is the ultimate lapdog and will demand attention with full on whimpers if you are doing other things with your hands rather than holding her (so rude of us!) - she enjoys being carried and treated like a human baby. She has been doing great understanding the layout of the apartment, learning with each light boop where walls and furniture are - she’s such an explorer and does a great job sensing her environment without sight, even shimmying under sofa legs to make sure she’s not missing anything. She hears great and has been following our snaps if we are trying to lead her somewhere which has been really helpful. It’s tempting to pick her up a lot but I know that’s not supporting her to learn so we are resisting the urge. She’s not much of a drinker but she’s been eating great and has sipped from her water bowl. She is super food motivated and I think she’ll love playing with puzzle toys. She is a great napper and slept so soundly the whole night through. We were a little worried she’d wake up in the night and not know how to get out of our bed safely, but she slept so peacefully and we woke to her looking at us ready for her walk. One funny thing is that this liberated lady prefers to be naked - she is so thrilled when her harness comes off after a walk and is extremely unenthused about putting it on to go outside!

Here's some notes from his foster: Flicker is fully potty trained! Walks amazingly on a leash. Does not pull at all. And can do long walks or short ones. Can also do stairs without a problem. Flicker may be hard of hearing, but his heart is full of love. Flicker loves being with his people. At times he can be talkative.
