Story
Mochi is a sweet, 27lb and moderate energy “chiweeniebull” looking for his furever family. He was adopted from a local rescue as a family surrender (where he was originally a member of a 4 dog and 4 human household). He has been living in a single person (no other dogs) household and his adjustment has been a challenge without a pack family and mild SA, so he would thrive in a bigger family with other furry friends (esp an older sibling). He is socialized with dogs smaller and bigger than him and does well with dog intros at the park, doggy day care and with neighbors’ dogs. Day to day, Mochi loves hanging on the couch, figuring out an enrichment or food puzzle, playing with a squeaky toy or being near his human for pets and cuddles. Mochi knows basic commands, goes for morning and evening walks (30-40 mins each) and is a solid loose leash walker, highly food motivated and housetrained (he sleeps in his crate at night). Will also include: crate, harness, wet/dry food & fave toys!

Story
Meet Wardy! ? This stunning boy has a story of resilience and hope. Wardy came to us from a local shelter, where he was heartbreakingly placed on the euthanasia list for being "fearful." However, Wardy has proven that labels can be deceiving—he’s far from fearful! In fact, he’s a social butterfly who adores meeting new people and quickly charms everyone with his sweet personality. Wardy is an outdoor enthusiast and absolutely loves going for walks, where he eagerly explores his surroundings. He’s also a perfect travel companion, riding calmly and happily in the car. When it comes to canine friendships, Wardy is a superstar! He’s incredibly dog-friendly and would make a wonderful second dog, whether your current pup is big or small. With his striking red brindle coat and unique long, low, and stocky build, Wardy is truly one of a kind. At just 14 pounds, he’s a compact little package of love and energy. At approximately 3 years old, Wardy is the perfect age—past the puppy phase but full of youthful enthusiasm. Wardy would thrive in an active home that can keep up with his zest for life. Despite his tough start, he’s embracing his second chance with enthusiasm. He’s currently working on house training and making great progress, thanks to his eagerness to please and food-motivated nature. We don’t know why Wardy ended up in the shelter, but what matters most is that he’s left that chapter behind. He’s ready to start a new life with a family who will love and commit to him forever. If you’re looking for a loyal, friendly, and energetic companion, Wardy is your guy! ? To begin the adoption process, please submit an application using the link below. Meet Tia! This 4-year-old, 30-pound girl is as unique as she is charming, with a beautiful merle coat and a personality that will warm your heart. Tia is a sunshine-lover who delights in quiet, peaceful walks around the neighborhood and is happiest when she has a cozy spot to relax by your side. Tia’s initial shyness means she takes a little time to trust new people, but once she does, her love and loyalty know no bounds. Although a bit unsure on the leash at first, Tia is making steady progress with each walk, thanks to her dedicated foster family. She’s fully house-trained, and has a funny, endearing personality that will keep you smiling. In a prior home, she even lived with a dog-savvy cat. Tia would thrive with a patient, understanding adopter who can give her time to settle in and gain confidence. Ideally, she'd love a home with a confident and mellow, male dog friend who can show her the ropes. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who enjoys quiet days at home and just needs a little extra time to open up, Tia might be your perfect match! Meet Indigo – The Sweetest Shadow Puppy! Indigo is an adorable 7-week-old puppy who will be ready to join her forever family in just a few weeks! This beautiful black-coated girl is full of love and charm. She’s the kind of pup who will follow her people everywhere, always wanting to be part of the action. Her mama is a 20lb cattle dog-dachshund mix, while dad is unknown. Right now, she weighs just 3lbs, and we estimate she’ll grow to 10-15lbs when fully grown. Indigo Needs a Committed Forever Family! Indigo is the perfect mix of playful and affectionate. She loves to explore, wrestle with her siblings, and then curl up for snuggles. She’s a smart little girl who will thrive in a home that can give her structure, training, and lots of love. She would do best in a family that has another friendly dog to be her playmate and role model. A home with a yard and people who want an affectionate companion to bond with would be ideal. Indigo had a rough start in life. She was found abandoned in an orchard in Fresno, left for dead. But thanks to a kind rescuer, she made it to the Bay Area, where she is now thriving in a loving foster home with dogs and kids. What Indigo Needs: A family committed to training, socialization, and exercise. Someone who wants a loyal best friend who will always be by their side. A safe environment while she finishes her puppy vaccinations (she won’t be ready for public surfaces for another two months). Meet Piggly Wiggly, the sweetest little bundle of joy you’ll ever meet! This peppy boy is always curious about what’s happening around him—he loves being in the know! Piggly Wiggly is all about people; he’s happiest when he’s making new friends and getting all the pets he can. With a wagging tail and a big heart, he’ll greet everyone he meets like they’re his new best friend. Whether it’s cuddling up for snuggles or strolling by your side, this little guy is ready to brighten your days. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’s all about love and good vibes, Piggly Wiggly is the one for you! Here's some notes from his foster: Piggly Wiggly is the most appropriately named dog. He is pure joyous wiggles. His bum is like the end of a firetruck, it seems to move independent of the rest of his body. He loves to have his bum scratched, so he will do "drive-bys": he will go in circles and then gently bump your shin to show his bum is ready to receive some well deserved scratches. It's adorable. He also does a very cute dance for his dinner and knows he needs to sit in order to get his food. He has a great appetite and is food motivated. PW is a great lap dog who loves to be held like a baby and get belly rubs. He is good with strangers as long as they let him approach them first. He is very cuddly and loves to lay between us while we watch tv. This boy is a very energetic senior and loves to go for long walks. He is house trained and is fine being left alone. He has a lot of energy that benefits from some guidance and direction. He is a smart dog that wants to be told the plan so he can follow it and be a good boy.

We defy you to find an oldie-but-goodie guy who is older and gooder than Luther. This slim chi is elegant, polite, and long on everything – ears, years, nose and neck. And such a loveboat! With a comfy couch and lap-sitting privileges, Luther is a master of calming snuggles, occasional gentle licks to the chin, and a magic brand of quiet empathy for which he has a patent pending. He is much loved by dogs and people, and he loves them back. No chasing, wrestling or tossing required; Luther seeks only peace, love and understanding. He promises lots of all three in return. Here's some notes from his foster: Looking for a loyal companion who's always by your side? Look no further than Luther! This spunky senior gentleman loves to cuddle and gaze at you adoringly all day long. He's always curious about what you're up to and hates to be left out. Luther's a big fan of mealtime and has a unique trait for a chihuahua – he doesn't bark! He's still working on mastering his house training and will need a patient and loving home to help him along the way. This lovable guy is a true gem.

Meet Zephyr, the gentle breeze of love you’ve been waiting for! This sweet, mellow boy is as calm as a sunny afternoon nap. He loves to lounge around, soak up the good vibes, and be your quiet little shadow. Zephyr gets along with everyone—dogs, humans, probably even imaginary friends! He’s the kind of pup who doesn’t ask for much, just a cozy spot to rest and a family to call his own. If you’re looking for a peaceful companion who will always be by your side, Zephyr is your guy! Here's some notes from his foster: Zephyr is the sweetest guy, he just wants to be with his people, he gets along with other dogs and with cats just fine. He follows us around as we do day to day stuff. He does best with access to the yard available for frequent bathroom breaks. He loves walking, does great and enjoys the sunshine and smelling the flowers. We have done long walks each day and we bring along a stroller for him to take breaks in- but he prefers to walk even if that means walking a little slower. Zephyr loves food, loves treats and we are currently working to help him gain some weight so have been doing several meals a day, which he is loving. In the evening he likes to hang out where the family is, I have been fencing off the living room to make the space more comfortable. He enjoys a lap and a carry pouch. He does have some sundowning symptoms, and we have gated off a corner of our bedroom so he can march around if he wants to. After that, he will sleep through the night. He would do great in a home that can provide him a stable routine with frequent walks and snuggles. He's a sweetie.
