MEET SAMSON! This little 8-year-old boy needs a home! Samson is a Chihuahua mix on paper, but could have some Dachshund in him given his slender nose and longer body. He's got the most interesting color patterns and floppy ears. Whatever his mix, he's cute. Samson is a bit shy at first, but once he gets to know you he will be happy for attention. He gets along great with other dogs, though is more submissive so should not be with an alpha dog. He already had a dental and is neutered, vaccinated & chipped. He does well in a crate. Samson weighs 10 lbs. He would do best in a quiet home with a single person, a couple or a family with older kids. Please email for an application.

This little man has been through IT! We pulled him from a city shelter after we received a plea that he was attacked by another dog in the kennel and was in bad shape. He also lost his ear and it was severely infected. He has made a full recovery physically but he is sometimes head shy with new people so you have to take it slow with him and let him move at his pace. He is probably younger than he appears but had a hard life before being rescued. He is fine with other dogs and cats. He would also be happy as the only pet. Crate trained, working on house training, great on leash, not a barker.

This little man is a heartbreaker. So sweet and calm, he’s the perfect companion for someone that is not too athletic and would prefer to have a calm energy dog. He was found as a stray, scared, hungry, dirty. Thankfully someone reached out to our friends at HOPE FOR PAWS and they jumped into action and got him to safety. He’s completely vetted, healthy, happy and ready for the next chapter…a forever home.

Meet Roscoe! This 7 year old was very fearful for his first few months in the shelter, but has come so far. He still takes time to warm up to new friends, but is always happy to play outside his kennel. Roscoe will chase after plushies all day long. He`s looking for a home with an experienced adopter familiar with earning the trust of nervous pup. @vcanimalservices AMAZING PROGRESS - but Roscoe still needs an adopter after 6 months in shelter. This boy was once so fearful of dogs and people that he spent most of his time in a kennel covered with a blanket to reduce stress. Though he still needs time to warm up to new people, Roscoe is making more and more friends! He’s proving to be playful and loves toys. Though he has struggled with touch, he is even starting to warm up to belly rubs. ?? This plea is for a rescue group or patient individual with no children or pets. Someone who understands that Roscoe is not your average adoption candidate. Befriending Roscoe and building his confidence will be a project. He is a beautiful work-in-progress who needs someone prepared to take on the challenges and joys of helping him become his best self. ??
