Story
Meet Tildy, a charmingly stubborn senior citizen looking for somewhere special to live out her golden years. Tildy`s goal in life is to be warm and comfortable at all times. As a hairless breed, she needs extra care to keep her warm and keep her skin healthy and potential adopters should familiarize themselves with caring for a Chinese Crested before meeting her. Food is Tildy`s favorite thing in the entire world. She came to the rescue overweight and isn`t too pleased about being on a diet, but is down to a much healthier 15 lbs. Tildy does just fine in her crate when foster mom leaves and is happy to just chill in a soft bed all day while foster mom is home. Although she was likely potty trained at one point, she`s reached an age where she no longer cares and is looking for a family that`s ok with putting out a potty pad for her to use between trips outside. If you`re looking for a sweet little companion that will snuggle up and give you the best `please give me your food` eyes in the world, Tildy might be your gal.You can also watch for stories, pictures and videos about Tildy on our Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/JrsPupsNStuffInc Ask to meet me today!!Adoption fee: $250All dogs/puppies have been fully vetted including spay/neuter, micro-chipping, worming, heartworm testing and preventative treatment, flea/tick preventative, and all required age appropriate vaccinations. Story
Meet Lily! Age: senior Weight: 10 pounds (I'm just an itty bitty!) Good with: adults House trained: I use potty pads, but still have accidents sometimes. I'm working on being the best girl I can! Crate trained: in my foster home I am gated in the kitchen if my foster parents go away. I do love my crate, it is my safe space! Special needs: I can't hear a dang thing from a lifetime of chronic ear infections, and my ticker isn't that great, so I can't have some procedures that are recommended. Let me give you a little back story about how I came into rescue. I was found left alone after my owner passed away. I was very scared and hungry! I'm working on trusting that people want the best for me. Lily is completely deaf, but she doesn't let it get her down! She loves her bed, her person, and food. She loves food so much that she prefers to eat alone. When I bring her meals, she does a little dance and twirl before I put it down. She co exists well with all the dogs in the house, big and small. She gets a little bossy with the cats when it's close to meal times, but other than that she gets along with them. When it's warm enough out she loves to sniff around the yard with the other dogs, and she loves warm weather walkies. She takes a bit to warm up, but once she does she's a pleasant little companion. She even likes to play! She'll whip around a toy and even chase it if you toss it. When I tuck her into bed at night she likes to play with me with the blanket before she settles down in her little blanket nest (the very best place for a little girl to sleep!) She's a spunky little girl for sure! She uses pee pads most of the time, especially when it's cold out. Lily is on 2 different kinds of medications for her 6/6 heart murmur.. Because of this she gets winded very quickly when she plays or exerts herself in any other way. With enough time to settle and slow intros, she is a spunky and loving little cutie! No small children, as she does not like to be touched unless she really knows you. *Lily is being fostered in New Glarus, WI.
