You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Dan Dan is a 5-year-old Chinese Crested Powder Puff with a gentle soul and a quietly brave heart. He can be timid at first, but every day he’s learning that people can be kind and love can be safe. Once he feels comfortable, Dan shows his sweet side—curling up on the couch, soaking up the sunshine, and happily sharing space with other dogs. Dan enjoys the simple joys in life: sunbathing like a pro, chasing squirrels and birds, and letting deer know (from a safe distance) that he’s on neighborhood watch. He’s a soft, sensitive boy who thrives in calm environments and would love a quiet person or couple who can give him patience, consistency, and all the affection he’s been waiting for. Dan doesn’t ask for much—just a peaceful home, gentle companionship, and someone who will love him for exactly who he is. In return, he’ll give you loyalty, sweetness, and a heart full of gratitude. Adoption fee: $300 Apply to adopt Dan at: www.adoggie4you.org  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 8, 2026, 4:10 pm

Story
Pancho Villa was found running the streets. The family that found him decided to keep him problem is Pancho Villa is an escape artist! He got out of his new yard on several occasions. His family tried to find all the spots he was escaping from but he kept getting out. The last time he got out he was picked up by animal control. His family was devastated but they decided it was best for Pancho to find a new place to live where he is in a secure yard. He had not been neutered yet and that may have contributed to his wanting to escape! Pancho Villa is neutered now, he has had all his vaccinations, microchipped and is on heartworm and flea/tick prevention. He is ready to find his new home! If you are interested in making Pancho Villa a part of your family please fill out our adoption application. We would love to set up a time for you to meet this wonderful little dog!

WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org ⚡🐾 Meet Flash — A Little Spark of Courage with a Whole Lot of Heart 🐾⚡ Male • 10 Months Old • 13 lbs - Chihuahua Some dogs burst into your life with confidence… and some, like Flash, quietly work their way into your heart and stay there forever. 💛 At 10 months old and 13 pounds, Flash is still very much a puppy at heart — just one who’s learning the world a little later than most. Coming from a hoarding situation, he missed out on some of the basics early on… but you’d never know it by how beautifully he’s starting to blossom. This sweet boy has already made incredible progress. What once was a shy, unsure pup is now a little guy who will come up for pets, seek out affection, and is discovering just how good life can be. And honestly? He’s kind of crushing it. • House training? Doing fantastic. • Doggie door? Learned it practically overnight (show-off 😄) • Making dog friends? Yes please. • Toys? Still figuring them out, but very interested. Flash is smart, curious, and very treat motivated, which makes him a wonderful student for learning all the things he may have missed early on — leash walking, confidence building, and all the fun parts of being a beloved family dog. He’s currently working on his leash skills, and once he’s comfortable, he’ll be the perfect buddy for leisurely neighborhood strolls or mild outdoor adventures. With other dogs, Flash is doing great — he’s even starting to play and would truly benefit from a confident canine sibling to help show him the ropes and remind him that everything is okay. Cats? He’s met one and was curious but respectful — a true gentleman. Because he’s still gaining confidence, Flash would do best with older kids who understand patience and gentle interactions. Now, about his name… Let’s just say it fits. Not only does he have a little lightning bolt marking on his chest, but when he gets the zoomies? You’ll see exactly how he earned it. Blink and you might miss him. ⚡ But his markings isn’t what makes him special: It’s the way he’s learning to trust. The way he leans in for pets. The way he’s discovering joy in things most dogs take for granted. Flash is still soaking up the world like a much younger puppy — every day is new, exciting, and just a little bit magical. He doesn’t need perfection. He just needs patience, kindness, and someone willing to show him what love looks like. And in return? You’ll get a dog who loves you with his whole heart — the kind of love that feels extra special because it was earned. 👉 Apply today at haydudeequine.org and give Flash the safe, loving home he’s been waiting for… and watch him light up your life in the sweetest way. 🐾💛

WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 💛 Meet Phoebe 💛 Phoebe may be the tiniest of her group at just around 7 pounds… but don’t let her size fool you—there’s a whole lot of love packed into that stunning milk chocolate colored little body, just waiting to shine. At about 1 year old, Phoebe is still learning that the world isn’t such a scary place after all. She can be a little shy when you first meet her—but give her a New York minute, and you’ll start to see her blossom into the sweetest little companion. And once she decides you’re her person? Game over. You’ve been chosen. 💛 💛 Personality: shy at first, but warming up into a total sweetheart 💛 Social life: loves playing with other dogs and would truly thrive with a confident canine buddy 💛 Life goal: find her human and never let them go Phoebe came from a hoarding situation with many other dogs, so she’s just now discovering all the wonderful things most pups take for granted—gentle pets, kind voices, meals in her very own bowl, and those magical little things called treats (she’s pretty sure those are going to be a favorite). She’s looking for a patient, loving home—ideally a quieter one with older, gentle kiddos—where she can continue to grow in confidence at her own pace. A doggy sibling would be a huge bonus, helping her navigate the “big, exciting world” moments and showing her that everything is, in fact, pretty a-ok. Phoebe is the kind of dog whose journey is just beginning. Every day, she gets a little braver, a little more playful, a little more herself. And being the person who gets to watch that transformation? That’s the really special part. And fair warning… once she comes out of her shell, don’t be surprised if this tiny little thing turns into your full-time shadow—following you around like, “Hi yes, I live here now and I will love you forever.” Apply today at haydudeequine.org if you have the patience, the kindness, and maybe a cozy spot on the couch… Phoebe is ready to find her person and start her happily ever after 💕

Story
**Meet Fable!** Fable is a 2-year-old Chihuahua mix weighing about 8 lbs, and he’s ready to turn the page to a brand new chapter. This little guy has had a tough beginning, but you’d never know it from the love he has to give. Fable can be a bit timid at first and needs a little time to feel safe, but once he learns he can trust you, he becomes incredibly affectionate, sweet, and happy. He gets along well with other dogs and would do great in a home with a gentle canine companion or a patient adopter who will help him continue building confidence. Fable is the kind of dog who forms a deep, meaningful bond with his person — the kind that makes all the patience worth it. He’s just waiting for someone to show him that his best days are still ahead.
