Story
Hi, I'm Trudy and I am just about the cutest pup ever! I may be small but I have the biggest and best personality - I'm quite spunky. I don't know what a bad day is - all my days are fun and happy - that's me - fun and always happy! I am super sweet and pretty darn smart too! I love to be around and with my people. I do well with my foster siblings but nothing beats my people. I have alot of energy and zip all over the place. Once I'm done zooming around I like to grab a toy and just relax in your lap or near you. I'm excellent with my crate manners and am house trained. I love toys and treats and did I mention I LOVE my people and getting attention. So, if you want a girl who will make your days the absolute best and most fun - I'm your girl!! Story
Hi, I am Tiffany, a small, spirited dog with a big personality. Though I may be pint-sized, I have a lot of heart and a bold attitude. I love my humans, both big and small. However, it is hard for me to warm up to other dogs easily, so I keep my distance from them and prefer my own space. I am crate trained and house trained but may need time to adjust to my new surroundings. I can be a bit shy and cautious around new people, taking my time before showing my true, affectionate nature. Once I feel comfortable, I become a sweet and loving companion who enjoys quiet moments and bonding. Treats are my absolute favorite, and I am a fast learner when it comes to manners and routine. I will need some patience while I get adjusted to a new home, but my loyalty and love will be worth every moment of understanding. ADOPTION FEE: $450 (All MVPC dogs are heartworm-tested and on prevention, completely vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, crate-trained and house-trained) ADOPTER: Dog experience BIRTHDAY: 11/02/2021 FENCE: Required (an electric fence is not an acceptable form of containment) DOG FRIENDLY: Yes DOGS IN HOME: Required CATS: Unknown CHILDREN: Yes, 8 and over I AM READY TO GO HOME - If you are approved to be my new family, a hold fee of $100 is required and will be applied to the full adoption fee of $450 when MVPC comes to visit your house with me! ***WE DO NOT HOLD DOGS. Meet Milton WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Milton - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Hey all you fabulous folks out there, I'm here in search of a home, a family...one I can say is ALL mine!! I am so ready for Christmas, is Santa coming to grant my wish? Since you're reading this, maybe you could tell him I'd love that family to be with YOU!! I am around 8 years old and came from a hoarding situation of 96 dogs all in a small house, yes 96 dogs, where our living situation wasn't very good. I am so appreciative of all the little things that most dogs take for granted. A kind word, a gentle pet, a soft bed, some tasty treats!! I am so very loving, coming for some pets every chance I get and my favorites are ear scratches and belly rubs. I would probably do best in a quieter home where my person(s) work from home or are retired.! I do great with people once I get to know them but would probably do best in a home with just older kiddos. I do wonderfully with the other dogs in my foster home from big to smaller and also the resident kitty. I am crate trained but will need some continued work on housetraining. My chill easy going personality will make a great companion pup for your family. I'd even be great for a first time pet parent!! I get so excited to see you when you get home even if it was just to get the mail!! I don't really play too much with toys but I do love snuggling on a soft blanket! I will also be your lil shadow, following wherever you go...that lil heartbeat at your feet! If you would like a BFF to help you with your errand runs, a constant in your life to share in your joys and sorrows...oh my, I AM your boy!!!! I come in at about 15lbs of pure love ready to unleash it ALL on you. If you think we could be a perfect match please stop scrolling and fill out my adoption application. You can find it at haydudeequine.org

Story
Playful Teddy loves the ladies-and his favorite toys Chickie and Fuzzy. He plays fetch and even plays joyfully by himself. He obeys lots of commands : come/or clap your hands, sit, lie down, stay, leave it, wait (at the door or food bowl), then “OK” to avoid rushing out. He is a 4 year old beagle/chihuahua, so he loves hunting in the yard, is a great mouser, and has an adorable little high-pitched howl that always makes me laugh. He does zoomies. He lets you know that there is someone near your house, but can stop barking when you go to check them out and tell him it’s OK. He is afraid of men and it takes a long time to accept a man, which can be done by walking along with his lady owner. I got him a year ago, before I met a special man in my life. He does not warm up fully to my partner, and “protects me” from him, thus the reason to move him to an all female household. He will bite an unfamiliar man, and must be introduced with a muzzle on at first (repair man, for example).

Story
Meet Freddie, the 2-year-old, 29lb Chihuahua-Terrier mix, affectionately known by his foster family as Noodle Boy, Frederick of Hollywood, Freddie Boy, Long Boi, Noodle, and Mr. Chocolate Face! Freddie was rescued from a rural shelter, and he's been stealing hearts ever since with his sweetness and playful spirit. Freddie loves romping around the yard with his foster dog siblings and is always up for a run. He's learning his leash manners quickly, and he's eager to impress. He's a sharp little learner who already knows several commands, and he's scoring high marks in potty training - an impressive 85/100! At home, Freddie is the ultimate cuddle buddy. He adores cozying up on his foster parents' laps and snuggling under the blankets at night. Freddie would do well as a solo pup in a home full of loving humans or with a dog buddy to keep him company. Though he enjoys his walks, his true happiness shines in a fenced yard where he can stretch those legs and play to his heart's content. This charming "Long Boi is ready to find his forever family who will love him as much as he'll surely love them! Freddie is fostered in the Cincinnati area. His adoption fee is $275.00. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.
