Meet Thor! Thor is a 9 year old, 16 pound white Chinese Crested who is looking for his forever home. Thor was surrendered along with his sister, Mimi, by their owner when he went into hospice and could no longer care for them. Thor is the sweetest, most loving guy you’d ever want to meet. Thor snuggles up to his person wherever you are- couch, car, or bed! He is a certified Velcro dog! He gets along with all people over 12 but is a bit snappy with small children. He gets along with most small dogs. Thor loves to go for car rides and sits still in the passenger seat like a good boy should. Don’t you need someone to ride shotgun with you? Thor is housetrained when you’re home, and wears a belly band when left alone. He also knows how to use a doggy door. Thor is overall healthy. He did have some health issues upon his entry to CRT last year which led him to being put on medical hold for some time. He had repeated ear infections and skin infections but thankfully these issues are treated and under control now! Thor will always have some skin issues so his new parent(s) must be prepared for regular medicated baths. Be aware that the Chinese Crested breed requires special skin care since they are partially hairless as they are prone to acne and sun damage. He is heartworm negative and is on monthly heartworm prevention. He is neutered and has had a dental. Thor is microchipped. His adoption donation is $400.00. Your current dogs/cats must be spayed or neutered unless a veterinarian has determined that your current pet(s) should not be fixed due to medical reasons. They must also be up-to-date on shots and on HW preventative. Reference checks and a home visit are required so SE dogs can only be adopted in NC/SC, VA, TN, AL, MD, and GA.

*** AVAILABLE ON-SITE FRIDAYS AND SATURDAYS *** Yes, we 100% agree that Mauve has the most epically cute face of all time, but that is nothing compared to her adorable personality! Mauve is an adult female Chihuahua who found her way to Saving Grace alongside her good pal, Mark. While she would be happy to find a home alongside him, she would probably equally enjoy being the center of attention as an only dog. Mauve loves people, which is perfectly balanced by a small independent streak. She loves cuddling on the couch, but at bedtime she trundles off to find a snuggly dog bed, ideally with a blanket she can burrow into. She loves, loves, loves mealtime and treats and is looking for a human who won't let her overindulge too much (but just a little won't hurt). She was a good girl at bathtime and took her nail trim with stoic resignation. Her coat should fill out nicely with good nutrition and care, and she will soon be as beautiful as she is cute. She has shown very nice housebreaking habits on a consistent potty schedule. Mauve is the total package... don't wait too long to meet this fabulous girl!

Must be adopted with Truffle, her sister. Sweet bonded pair of senior chis who love to cuddle and hang out with you all of the time. They lived together in the same home for 12 years and the humans decided they were too much with 3 human children. :(
