Meet Thor! Thor is a 9 year old, 16 pound white Chinese Crested who is looking for his forever home. Thor was surrendered along with his sister, Mimi, by their owner when he went into hospice and could no longer care for them. Thor is the sweetest, most loving guy you’d ever want to meet. Thor snuggles up to his person wherever you are- couch, car, or bed! He is a certified Velcro dog! He gets along with all people over 12 but is a bit snappy with small children. He gets along with most small dogs. Thor loves to go for car rides and sits still in the passenger seat like a good boy should. Don’t you need someone to ride shotgun with you? Thor is housetrained when you’re home, and wears a belly band when left alone. He also knows how to use a doggy door. Thor is overall healthy. He did have some health issues upon his entry to CRT last year which led him to being put on medical hold for some time. He had repeated ear infections and skin infections but thankfully these issues are treated and under control now! Thor will always have some skin issues so his new parent(s) must be prepared for regular medicated baths. Be aware that the Chinese Crested breed requires special skin care since they are partially hairless as they are prone to acne and sun damage. He is heartworm negative and is on monthly heartworm prevention. He is neutered and has had a dental. Thor is microchipped. His adoption donation is $400.00. Your current dogs/cats must be spayed or neutered unless a veterinarian has determined that your current pet(s) should not be fixed due to medical reasons. They must also be up-to-date on shots and on HW preventative. Reference checks and a home visit are required so SE dogs can only be adopted in NC/SC, VA, TN, AL, MD, and GA.

Story
Annabelle is special needs as she requires the use of a wheelchair. She just recently lost the use of her back legs due arthritis in her long back.I am a sweet 5 yr old girl. I am a very sweet special needs little girl. I have arthritis in my back that has caused me to loose the use of my back legs. I have recently transitioned into a wheelchair where I can really get my groove on. I can race around the yard as fast as my foster siblings can on 4 feet. My wheels are really fast. My foster mom calls me her shadow. I follow her everywhere and love lap snuggles. My favorite place to sleep is under the blankets snuggled as close as I can get to my person.I have a favorite blanket that I like to suckle and nibble on. I am vocal but not as bad as most of my relatives usually are, I’m more of an alert system. I’m completely house trained and will let you know when I need to go out. I’m great with all dogs and cats but prefer not to share my persons lap although I will tolerate it if I have to. To apply for me please visit STFFAR. CHARLEY is a playful little guy. He had a rough beginning but shelter staff really cared about him .He came to us from orange county. He is with a foster who has gained his trust and taught him that he is safe now and will be fed and cared for. He plays with Jolee another small dog. no apartments, or electric fences.
