Story
Vanna is beyond glamorous! She is a beautiful, gentle purebred Chinese Crested looking for her forever home after being breeder “mom” for her entire life. Like most moms, she deserves the chance to be spoiled and loved after being of service to others for so long! Vanna is purebred Chinese Crested that is 4-5 years old and weighs approximately 16 lbs. She is a very sweet natured and playful. She is deeply loyal and often attaches herself to a single person and makes that person her universe. She loves kids, and other dogs. She has not yet been cat tested but we believe she would likely be fine due to her general temperament. She is crate and housebroken (using both a doggie door and potty pads). Vanna is one of 6 Chinese Crested in our rescue that were surrendered by a breeder through no fault of their own. Interested in becoming this pup’s forever home? For immediate consideration, please fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we DO NOT go any further without an application. If there are multiple dogs that you are interested in, please fill out an application for each dog. This does not include bonded pairs, one application will be fine. We have different adoption coordinators working with different dogs, and your application may be missed if you only apply once. Find more adoptable pets, news and information on Instagram @friendswithfourpaws or our Facebook page Friends with Four Paws . We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting. We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and the perfect forever home for our dogs. We appreciate you working with us. Our adoption fees cover spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses. All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed. Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!

Story
Trixie is a playful truly SWEET little dog. She is a beautiful, gentle purebred Chinese Crested looking for her forever home after being breeder “mom” for her entire life. Like most moms, she deserves the chance to be spoiled and loved after being of service to others for so long! Trixie is purebred Chinese Crested that is 4-5 years old and weighs approximately 13 lbs. She is a very sweet natured and playful. One funny thing to note about Trixie is she often gets so caught up in play that is fails to realize her tail is not the toy and ends up chasing her tail. Her foster mom says it is completely hilarious and adorable to watch her play. She is a little skiddish at first but we believe with proper socialization and life outside of breeding she will do very well. She is very sweet natured and does warm up quickly. She loves kids, and other dogs. She has not yet been cat tested but we believe she would likely be fine due to her general temperament. She is crate and housebroken (using both a doggie door and potty pads). Trixie is one of 6 Chinese Crested in our rescue that were surrendered by a breeder through no fault of their own.
