Story
Hi, I'm Tiny Batman and I'm from Alabama! From his foster: Tiny is an awesome dog that needs just a little extra care and attention. He take a bit of time to find comfort with people but once he does, he is so sweet and fun!! He LOVES squeaker toys and tug-of-war and playing fetch in the backyard. He is also a big fan of face kisses, so be prepared. He doesn't mind a treat or a softer bone to chew on either. He does enjoy going on a walk once he trusts you and I took him for a car ride yesterday and he seemed to enjoy that. Tiny is still working on some behavior issues. He does bark at new sounds and new people. The more comfortable he has gotten in my home, the less he has barked at sounds. He is mostly going potty outside with just a couple accidents but he is still in a transition phase so I have no doubt this will subside. He is working on some issues with being territorial and protective. With new people, there does need to be some caution with introductions and with sharing his toys. He is still young enough that he does make toys out of items that aren't supposed to be toys, in my home it has been slippers and sandals. Nothing destroyed-just relocated I work from home so I have spent a good amount of time with him. In under a week I feel completely confident in his ability to learn and keep improving on his few hiccups. I believe he could learn to be in a home with other animals and possibly children, but it would need to be a slow process. He needs a home that has time to play with him and has time to make him feel extra safe and comfortable. Tiny Batman is 10 pounds of pure love, ready to steal your heart! This little guy enjoys nothing more than curling up on your lap for hugs and kisses. With his playful spirit, he loves zooming around the yard and chasing after balls! While Tiny has his quirks, he's looking for a special foster home experienced with small dogs and their occasional spicy personalities. He can be a bit wary of strangers, barking until he feels safe and settles down. In a previous home, he thrived alongside a calm dog but struggled with a more assertive companion, so he may do best as an only pet while he works on his training. Tiny has a history that includes a scare with a harness, which left him apprehensive about leashes. For now, he needs a fenced yard to explore freely without the pressure of a leash. With patience and love, Tiny will reward your commitment with endless snuggles and affection.

I am looking for a temp foster from: Sept 29th - October 13th I am also looking for my furever home. I'm from Alabama! From his foster: Little Bit is a one of a kind guy. At our home we have been calling him Herb - because he reminds us of an old man with his constant love for napping and food! Herb is a dog with seizures, so he requires 3 times a day medication. He has improved a little bit with the crate but still isn't great. He does well being out with no supervision! He has minimal accidents in the house but we put belly bands on him and he does amazing with those. Herb loves nothing more than to snuggle under the blankets with you any time of the day! He loves food, so if you're eating be prepared to have him beg at your feet for a little taste! He currently lives with 2 dogs and 2 cats and does well with all of them! He loves kids as well, preferrably if they're over the age of 4. From the Vet: Hi, My name is Little Bit and I would like to share some information about my medical history. I have active epilepsy, however I am currently managing these episodes on anti seizure drugs three times daily and doing well as long as I get the meds on that consistent schedule. As long as you are comfortable and able to help me in this way, I know I will be an amazing addition to any family!

Hi! My name is Lil Bit and I am from Arkansas. I am currently being treated for heartworm disease. Heartworm is not contagious so your resident pets are not at risk! The treatment for this is 3-4 months long and requires a minimum of 3 appointments and strict rest/restricted activity. My adoption can take place during treatment, while TBB manages the financial responsibility of my heartworm treatment at The Bond Between Vet Center. Any other medical care needed outside of the specific care covered in the contract disclaimer, would be the responsibility of my new family. From the Vet: As stated above I am currently undergoing heartworm treatment. I also need to be spayed and have a bilateral knee surgery to repair my grade 3/4 luxating patellas. My new adoptive family will want to be prepared to nurse me through the recovery of these treatments and surgeries. This will include a lot of activity restriction both during 30 days post HW treatment and 8 weeks post orthopedic surgery. I hope I can find a special home for a special dog like me. If your looking for a lil pup to spoil I may be your girl!
