Story
Olive Oil is a 9 month old Chi who was semi feral stray Chihuahua mix puppy who has been in foster for weeks and have warmed up to people. Currently she is being fostered with one of our dog trainers that specializes in timid, shy dogs. Olive Oil is adorable and loves to wrestle with her brother. Lots of puppy energy that is super fun to watch:) She also loves to cuddle up in her dog bed or in your lap once she gets used to you. She is also kennel trained. Her Foster mom is working with her on pee pad training and potty training, socializing with dogs and humans, leash training & doggie door training. There are lots of other dogs at her foster moms house so we know she is dog friendly, her foster doesn't have any cats but thinks she would be fine with them if introduced properly. She thinks she would do better in a quiet home with adults or older children to work with her. Another confident dog could be helpful, but not necessary. She will need an adopter, who will give her love and patience. Please consider this adorable girl as a part of your family. She deserves all the kindness and will give you a lifetime of affection. The shy dogs become the most loyal dogs, who adore their humans. Her foster mom is located in Fort Collins Colorado and wants to find a patient adopter, who has experience with handling and rehabilitating shy dogs, or who is willing to help him continue gaining confidence by taking one of Jodi's foundation classes in person or via zoom. This class is NOT basic obedience, but instead, is designed for rescue dogs and teaches the adopter how to work to build the dogs confidence and overcome any trauma the dog may have experienced. This training would definitely help the family and this sweet guy adjust to their new life together quicker. She provides a discount on training.

Story
Lala is a very sweet girl, but she will need a couple days to get used to her home. She started off in foster care snapping and scared. It didn’t take her long to adjust, she just needs some time to adapt to her new surrounding. She seems to be potty trained, will go out when told (except first thing in the morning. She likes to sleep in). She recently had a dental. Older or no kids is best for her. She is located in Greeley.

Story
“Grady” will be attending an event at the Stanley Marketplace in Aurora, CO on November 14th 6-9pm. Come by to meet her! “Gratitude” (aka "Grady") came to Colorado recently when a hurricane swept through Texas this summer. This lucky girl is guessed to be a little 6 month old Chihuahua mix, and weighs a "whopping" 6.4lbs?! ;) This little puppy has won the hearts of her foster family. She is very playful and is always trying to escape from her puppy pen to go play with her 10 year old human foster sister and the big dogs in the home. She is very small and does not like to be without her family, especially outside. She will need a very secure yard. She can be an escape artist. She loves to go on walks and has a lot of puppy energy. She is good with kids, dogs and cats! Given her energy, it would be best if her future family has either kids and other dogs to play with. She is a very sensitive girl and prefers to be with other dogs when her humans leave the house. She is working on potty training but currently cannot be left alone for more than 3-4 hours during the day. She is being fostered in NE Denver, in the Central Park neighborhood. Grady will be attending an event to benefit Big Bones at the “Stanley Marketplace” on November 14th. Apply if you want to meet her!
