Story
Please contact Pet (information@pethelpersinc.org) for more information about this pet.   Meet Pico!  Breed: Chihuahua mix or super mutt around 1-2 years old. Height: 16 inches.  Weight: 22 pounds.  Medical: I'm neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and flea treated! I was Lyme positive, so I have to take antibiotics.  About me:  I found myself lost and the people at the local shelter picked me up. My owners never came for me but that's ok because Pet Helpers saved me. My foster mom tells me all the time I'm a good boy.  I love snacks, naps, and toys.  I am also crate trained and pretty much house trained!  For fun I run and play with my foster brother Runty. I love all the dogs and cats here.  If you need a new best friend please apply for me.  If you would like to do that click on the following link to fill out an application: https://www.pethelpersinc.org/adoption-application/     Adoption Fees: PUPPIES (under 1 year) $250.00,   Includes spay or neuter, rabies vaccine, age appropriate vaccines, heartworm/lyme test (if applicable), two rounds of dewormer, one round of flea medicine and microchip. ADULT DOGS (over 1 year) $225.00,   Includes spay or neuter, rabies vaccine, first set of routine yearly vaccines, heartworm/lyme test, two rounds of dewormer, one  round of flea medication, and Microchip. KITTENS AND CATS $100.00,   Includes spay or neuter,  vaccine according to their age, two rounds of dewormer, one round of flea medication, felv/fiv test, and microchip. For more information on this animal email adoptionisforever@pethelpersinc.org. Pet Helpers is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit foster based volunteer rescue located in Fairmont, WV.  We do adopt out of state to approved applicants, if you are willing to drive to WV to pick up your pet.  We do not fly or use transport companies.  Our adoption fee is $150.00 for mixed breed puppies and adult dogs, $225.00 for full blooded puppies and adult dogs and $50.00 for cats and kittens.  Regardless if the animal is a mixed breed or full blooded they are spayed/neutered prior to adoption IF they are old enough.  If they are too young at the time of adoption, then it is your financial responsibility to spay/neuter the pet by the age of 6 months and you must provide proof for our files that it has been done.  All of our pets are checked by a vet, given the shots appropriate for their age and any other treatment deemed necessary by the vet.  All of our pets are adopted as indoor pets and are not be outdoors tied to a box 24/7.  The pet you are adopting has been living in a home with a foster family.  You are expected to take possession of the pet you are applying for within a few days of application approval.  This will enable us to accept another pet into that home.  Because we are a rescue, and believe that spaying and neutering is crucial in stopping the reproduction of unwanted puppies/kittens and massive amounts of animals dying daily in shelters across the country, we expect any animal already in your home to be spayed/neutered. If for any reason you are unable to keep the pet you have adopted you are required to return them to Pet Helpers, Inc.  They are not to be sold or given away.   Check us out on Facebook!!!!!!  We hope you will give us two paws up, like our page and share with your friends.  Pet Helpers, Inc. Story
Buck was surrendered to the shelter on 10/18/2024 with his friend Dixie. They have been getting into trouble and running off, so they had to be surrendered. They just need a little bit of training and taught their boundaries a little better, and they'll be great dogs. They are currently a little nervous, but so sweet and love to follow us around. He is neutered and up to date on his vaccines. If you would like to add Buck to your family, his adoption fee is $150 with an approved application.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi there! My name is McLovin, I came in with 10 other chihuahua mixes and I was the only male out of the bunch. I am a shy and sweet little guy, but once I get to know you I'll wag my tail and be more outgoing. I love having a companion to hangout with. I tend to get anxious when I am left alone and I pace the area looking for some company. I am neutered, fully vaccinated, combo tested (Negative), and also current on my preventatives. If you are interested in me please visit our website: olivebranchwv.org to fill out an application. If you have a furry companion I would love to meet them as well. Hope to see you soon!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 5, 2024, 1:53 pm
