Just pick up a leash and Ace starts dancing around ready to roll. And speaking of rolling, rolling around on the couch or in bed is probably his second most favorite thing to do. So expect to share both with him and expect to laugh. Treats can also be used to persuade him in to learning cute tricks and are expected when he heads to his crate because that's what a good boy does. Want a dance partner, Ace is your guy. He can do the best little hind leg twirling. He also does love to give soft kisses and snuggles and his coat is so soft, who wouldn't want to snuggle with him. He also watches and is incredibly smart, he may think he is a bit human too. Ace is a 2-3 years old chihuahua/spitz mix who is fully vetted. Crate trained but not his favorite thing and remember the treat. Potty trained, set ground rules about marking when he enters his new environment and he is smart so knows its not allowed. He has a voice and is not a barker but probably not the best for an apartment. Ace is good with canine family members (a little loud when he plays). Ralph came from a very sad situation with a backyard breeder where he was used for breeding and horribly neglected. Ralph does great with other dogs but is scarred of new people and it is taking some time for him to learn to trust humans so he is anxious around people including children. He still flinches when touched. He is making progress on house training. He will need someone who has experience dealing with very skittish dogs and has a great deal of patience and also a very secure fenced yard. His caregiver is in love with this joyful and loving little dog. She tells us that when she sings “Whoo Whoo” to him that he sings back to her! On the cuteness scale, he is maxed out! He also ducks his little ears when she talks to him!! When she sits down he runs and & jumps right in her lap! When she stops rubbing his head, he’ll d butt her hand with his little, round head:) He loves other dogs – no matter this size. He is very friendly & loves getting attention.
