APPLY HERE https://is.gd/pawsfor&#226&#128&#139seniorsapp (Application opens in a new browser window.) We are not sure what breed 4 year old Nugget is, but we think he may be a Jack Russell/Chihuahua mix. We wish they had a breed called "Sweet" as Nugget would be a perfect example of the breed. Nugget was surrendered to a shelter due to owner health. The shelter manager said It was a very sad day when the owner turned him in with many tears. She loved him dearly. Nugget gets along with other dogs his size and he runs and plays with the other dogs in the foster's home.  He requires a secure fenced-in yard where he can concentrate on just having fun, running and romping around with other members of the pack. Nuggett is also okay with the resident cats and we think he would be okay with older children as well. He is a healthy little 13 pound boy who is neutered and recieved an intake health exam, HW testing, rabies and distemper vaccinations and a microchip.  Nugget is ready for cuddles and snuggles and is looking forward to the next chapter in his life. Adopt this little guy and feel the love! Paws For Seniors Adoption Process Thank you for your interest in adopting a Paws For Seniors pet. Story
APPLY HERE https://is.gd/pawsfor&#226&#128&#139seniorsapp (Application opens in a new browser window.) Squirt is a sweet 6 year old Chihuahua who was surrendered to the shelter due to owner health. The owner took very good care of him and loved him dearly. Squirt is a cuddler and a lover boy. He is all about you and he will listen to you, follow you, sit and cuddle with you, and he will want to sleep in your bed. He is very accomadating so a doggie bed next to you is ok too, or a crate with a nice soft bed will be fine. He sleeps quietly through the night and he must have "blankies," as he likes to borrow under them. So, if you can't find Squirt, make sure you look closely under all the blankets or a pile of clothes. He has made us chuckle more than once. Squirt is very smart and will learn your routine quickly.  He gets along great with other dogs  his size and it would be great if he had a secure fenced in yard and  a companion where they can just  concentrate on just having fun, running and romping around with themselves and other members of the pack. He also is okay with cats and we think older kids will be okay as well. Squirt is a healthy 8 pound little boy who is neutered and recieved an intake exams, HW testing, rabies and distemper vaccinations and a microchip. His life is "On-Hold" right now; waiting for that special loving family!  Paws For Seniors Adoption Process Thank you for your interest in adopting a Paws For Seniors pet. Story
APPLY HERE https://is.gd/pawsfor&#226&#128&#139seniorsapp (Application opens in a new browser window.) Naga is said to be a 12 year old Chihuahua mix but he acts much younger. When you look at him and his pointed ears, it reminds us of a Schipperke  dog breed  mix but we are not sure. What we do know is little 12 pound Naga is a great dog that loves the company of his people. He is very smart, actually listens, and is all about making you happy; he will make a great addition to any home. He is a healthy little boy that came to us when their owner had to go into an assisted living facility. They took very good care of their pets. Naga gets along well with other dogs his size and is okay with cats. Gala is very quiet and he likes to sit next to you during TV time. He sleeps through the night and knows to do his business outside. His only wish is to celebrate the holidays in his new home.  Paws For Seniors Adoption Process Thank you for your interest in adopting a Paws For Seniors pet. CHICO IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN, AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO VA ONCE ADOPTED!   Chico is easily the sweetest fun-loving dog ever. He is happy-go-lucky, he is extremely smart and is eager to please his human. He is about 8-10 years old and 13lbs. Chico loves to cuddle with his person. He knows sit, come, back, find “whatever you ask him”. Chico is house trained and crate trained. He recently had a dental. Chico is a good eater. He is polite and loves meeting new people. Chico was an only dog in his original setting, walked into his multi dog foster home and immediately became the cruise director. He gets along well with dogs of all sizes. His favorite foster sibling are the pretty larger females! Chico is crate trained and house trained. He sleeps with his foster mom or in his open crate – his choice. Chico loves lap time. The best home for Chico will have a secure fence. Kids over 10 and with excellent doggy manners would be okay. Another well temperamented dog would be fabulous. An excellent history of vet care for current or previous pets is required. Previous specific breed experience will be given preference. He is fully vetted including spay/neuter, microchip, rabies and all puppy vaccinations. His adoption fee of $600 includes the transport to VA. We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Chico up north to his new family.   If you have any questions, please email us at: newbeginnings_animalrescue@yahoo.com You can apply to adopt Chico here: www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 5, 2024, 1:30 pm

Story
Meet our sweet boy, Banner! He is a 4-year-old Chihuahua mix who weighs a healthy 15 pounds. This boy is full of life and happiness! He loves being around people and other dogs. Banner has been treated for heartworms and has recovered wonderfully. Wearing a short white coat which he loves to have stroked, Banner enjoys going for walks or running around in the yard. This boy would make a great family addition, and he will be sure to fill your days with love and attention! (Due to his small size, children in the home should be older than ten years or have experience handling small dogs.)
