Sandee was adopted from our shelter ten years ago and was found a stray recently and brought into our shelter. Sandee spent her stray hold with us and she`s became a staff favorite since entering the building. Sandee has an unknown neurological disorder that hinder her mobility. You many notice she has a funny walk, however that doesn`t stop her from running around. Sandee can not go into a home with any children or other animals in her forever home. She requires a person that has a lot of free time that can give her a lot of attention as she wants to be at the center of attention. Adopters will be required to sign a medical disclosure in regards to her preexisting condition

Meet Parker! This precious little guy is 4 years old and about 12 lbs. Evidently Parker did not have a very good life prior to joining Critter Cavalry. We think he was bullied by another dog. He is a 'sit on the sidelines and watch' kinda guy who doesn't really want to play with anyone. He doesn't mind the other dogs and definitely is not mean. He would just rather be with people. Parker is super sweet and loves people. He just wants to be where his foster mom is. Parker would be a wonderful companion for someone that just wants one dog and who would like a dog they can take places. He would love that and would love to be friends with all your friends. He is just precious and very friendly. He gentlY smells you to make sure you are OK and then he is good. He was smiling during his photo shoot and seemed to enjoy all the attention. If you are looking for a loyal companion then you have found him in Parker. Parker is doggie door trained, neutered, current on all shots, heartworm negative and microchipped. Meet Curious Puppy Coco. This beautiful brindle boy is only 17 weeks old and 7 lbs. Just look at that face. It definitely tells you that this curious little guy will be in the middle of everything. This little boy is all legs. You just want to smile when you look at him. He is at that awkward stage in life with legs and feet going every where. Coco is a very sweet boy. He is super friendly and does not meet a stranger. He happily goes up to everyone to be petted. Coco loves other dogs and has a big time playing with his foster brothers. He is a bit of a pest to the older dogs though as he always wants to play. Coco would love to have another young brother or sister to play with. He definitely needs a companion to keep him busy. When Coco does settle down he is a great little cuddle boy and will curl up in your lap or beside you to go to sleep. This little guy is doggie door and crate trained. He walks OK on a leash but does need some additional training. He is very smart though and catches on quickly. He will be an excellent addition to the right family. Anna is a 9 year old, 10lb adorable Chug (chihuahua/pug mix) who has endured some big human turmoil recently and ended up in a Middle Tennessee shelter. Not much is known of her history, but her underweight condition indicates at least some neglect took place. A really devoted foster mom for critter.Cavalry turquoise noticed her profile in the shelter and realize that being a senior she might not be chosen very easily by the general public. This young foster woman is making sure that Anna is gaining much needed weight slowly. She’s starting to put on weight and enjoys her meal times-with the occasional treat of whipped cream. While she is timid at first and a little wary of quick movements, it doesn’t take long for her to warm up and become your best snuggle buddy. Anna has some spunk and can run up stairs as fast as any puppy. She seems to be good with other dogs and initiates playing, though she doesn’t know what to do with toys. She does well on a leash and going outside. She is catching on to potty training (another example of her neglected past) and we are wanting someone who works from home or is retired as she does exhibit some separation anxiety in her first week with us. She has found the cozy comforts of warm blankets and fluffy pillows and burrows underneath. Anna has lots of love to give and deserves a family to spoil her. This boy is a gem! He's absolutely perfect, a real turnkey dog. Fostered in Vero Beach, FL, small enough to fit easily into a bag for in-cabin flying. Enrique is a 7 year old, 7 lb male Chihuahua. He’s tiny but mighty, and a lil bit stocky. This super sweet social butterfly boy is an easy keeper and steals the heart of everyone he meets Enrique gets along with dogs of all sizes, cats and has never met a stranger. He is playful and affectionate with other dogs and would enjoy a canine companion but people are his PASSION! We have not seen him around children so perhaps older children would be best with his tiny size. His favorite place is in your lap or snuggled up in your neck. Enrique is fully vetted, even bloodwork and a dental with 15 teeth removed, ouch. Enrique is great in the car and on a leash. He is truly a dog that you can easily take anywhere and even housetrained. He does need help getting into the bed so will bark to let you know he wants up. Snuggling, snoozing and snacking are Rique’s favorite pastimes, and he loves a little play time. He is content to stay in bed or explore the town.
