This shy yet playful pup is potty pad trained and feels most comfortable in a cozy X-pen or a small room when left alone, where he can relax and feel secure. Though it takes him time to warm up, once he bonds with his people, he’s incredibly loyal and loves staying close. He feels safest around women, so a patient and understanding female presence in his home will be important for helping him build confidence and settle in. Little Man absolutely loves other dogs and needs an energetic canine buddy to match his activity level and help him continue building confidence. Playtime, exercise, and having a sense of purpose are essential for this clever little guy. He’s also food-motivated, making ongoing training fun and rewarding.
