Gets Along With: Heiress has lived with other dogs and done well with them. We haven't seen her with cats but she can be tested if you have them. We would be cautious placing Heiress in a home with children under 12 years old because young kids can often scare small breed dogs with their level of energy or noise. Children would need to be supervised closely to ensure their interactions with the dog are calm and gentle in nature. We would be happy to discuss this more in depth with any applicant. Currently Living at: DC area foster home Special adoption considerations: Because Heiress was still nursing puppies when she arrived into our care, she hasn't been spayed. We will alter her as soon as possible after her puppies are weaned. However, if she is adopted before that time, her adopter must take responsibility for her alter. This must be done by January 21, 2025. There are NO EXCEPTIONS and NO EXTENSIONS to this! Heiress is Looking For: Her forever home! Sniffy walks and quality kibble are on her wish list but you know what?
