Story
She needs a home that has patience and understands that she needs the room to go when she gets the zoomies and plenty of playtime to burn off her occasional bouts of hyperactive energy and anxiousness. She takes time to warm up to because of her abusive history, so it caused her to have trust issues with new people and different environments. She does not like you to be near her face or in her personal space. She does occasionally take prescription medication for anxiousness when she is feeling overwhelmed. She always needs a slow introduction with people.
She discovered toys today, which seemed foreign to her, and now is embracing stuffed animals and her favorite soccer balls. She knows to go into her kennel when prompted with or without treats. Her fur is so puppy soft, and she loves cuddles on the couch. Given the previous bite case, she probably needs an adult/pet only home. Although she does well with other doggies, especially large breeds, high energy because it helps her with her anxiety.
