You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Sir Thomas is the sweetest boy.  He is shy and takes a bit to warm up but once he does he is the best lap dog ever.  He is great with other dogs and that is a must for for this little guy.  He came from a hoarder and he didn't get a lot of attention.  He is learning to trust and love now and will be a great addition to your family.  He is kennel and potty trained!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Online Adoption Application November 5, 2024, 10:29 am

Transport available to Buffalo NY and Ontario Canada for an additional fee. Demi - apx 3-4 years apx 7.5 pounds, as you can see her from her older pics, she has gained weight and is looking very healthy. Demi the cat dog. Demi was rescued from very very bad hoarding situation where she was confiscated for cruelty , with her babies, in a cement outdoor shelter , all her babies died within the first 24 hours. Demi is a sad case but her fosters have never given up on her. We have had Demi since February. She still does not “need “ or ask for human attention but likes to follow you around, be a part of the family, she will sit next to you and she LoVeS her foster fursiblings. She will not walk on leash and harness still and needs a fenced yard but does have good potty manners, taking in mind her Foster is retired and home all day so she gets to go in and out several times a day. She is very quiet and demure but has a silly side. She still will not let her fosters pick her up and will run from them, you have to kind of corner her to pick her up and she freezes. but she never ever bites and is never aggressive. Demi was basically feral when we got her in and her strides are slow going but non the less, she is indeed making them. We are hoping to find her the perfect home that will just let Demi be Demi and come around in her own time.

Transport available to Buffalo NY and Ontario Canada for an additional fee. Our lil Ponzu. Apx 1.5 year old and 13.5 pounds, tall and slender. He has a quiet, sweet soul. Ponzu was rescued from the streets of San Antonio. He was so thin and scared, timid, but asking a human for help. A kind women brought him in her yard and kept him safe for a couple days while she reached out to rescues to take him, we agreed to take Pomzu in. He is not feral, not a mean bone in his body, but he is a nervous boy. We are assuming some people and other animals were not very nice to baby Ponzu. He has probably been a stray most of his life. He is such a loving boy, he wants so so badly to be loved. It takes him very little time to fall in love with his people. He will say hi to anyone as long as you are gentle and use some baby talk and encouragement, doting on him and helping him gain his confidence. He likes other dogs but is very scared of dogs he does not know. You have to introduce new dogs slowly and gently. He needs other dogs and people that will be friendly to him, lots of positive reinforcement. He will gain his confidence over time. He is a special boy , super cute with a little pugish face , under bite, big soulful eyes, and a funny cowlick on his head. You will love him, and he will adore you in return.

Transport available to Buffalo NY and Ontario Canada for an additional fee. Maximus is a very handsome stoic little man with a scared little lion heart. He is approximately four years old and weighs 10.2 pounds. Maximus was rescued from our local shelter where he would have been euthanized. Max has stranger danger, and it takes him quite a bit to get to know someone new. He is nippy if a stranger tries to quickly pick him up or grab him. He did better than I expected at the vet’s office and if he has a person with him whom he knows and trusts, he is much more well mannered. Maximus is great with other dogs, he does try to Chase the cats. He does Mark and new situations and places so he will need a belly band in the home . Maximus was a stray in our town for over two years before he was finally able to be trapped. He has some serious trust issues and comes with some heavy baggage. He is quite the lover boy once he becomes comfortable with you, but that is going to take some time. He will bark at strangers and he will not come to somebody. He does not know. No children please. Fenced yard needed . Experienced foster only. We are hoping for a foster to adopt for Max. Apply Texas Chihuahua Rescue

Edrick is funny, cute and a little quirky. His mother is Ellie who is 9 pounds but we do not know dad. He will probably be about 12 pounds tall and slender fully grown. Edrick is very shy at first, but he does open up and become playful. He very much loves his siblings and other dogs. He is great with dogs, cats and well mannered children. It would be wonderful if he could have a fur sibling in the home that is a bit more outgoing and social so that Edrick could learn to follow along. Him and his siblings are very skittish at first, but they are young and they will certainly learn to be a loving family member in no time. He is very submissive , shy And quiet. Once Endrick comes out of his shell, he is a playful, silly , goober of a little puppy. He needs a family willing to socialize him and help him gain some confidence. He is a cutie patootie. Story
Baby Bat embodies the personality, uniqueness and likeness of the Batman. First, he works alone. No sidekicks or partners. He prefers solitude and his space. Baby Bat has lived with his foster and her dog pack for 5 years, he gets along with them but tolerates them at most. He would do well in a home where he is the only dog, no children, and adults only. Next, Baby Bat is an apex predator. Which means he needs his sleep and food and not to be interrupted or coddled when given either. Baby Bat is not a lap or cuddly dog. Finally, did we mention Baby Bat is a Chihuahua mix? That's a really important detail! Baby Bat is a great and loyal dog seeking a great family to adopt him! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Story
This is Buddy, and he can't wait to be yours! Buddy is a sweet young Chihuahua mix that started life off as a feral, until he was caught by a sweet and loving foster. Buddy got the good life after that! Spoiled with treats and given so much love he's developed into a great dog. He's a very friendly boy and does great with pretty much everyone. He would do best in a household with an active family. Buddy does tend to bark at smaller animals so he would do best in a household that doesn't have farm animals or other small pets. Dogs and cats he is fine with, though he has not had much experience with cats. Buddy would do well paired with another calm and confident dog. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)
