Story
Meet Pippa! She is in need of a foster or foster-to-adopt Pippa is a sweet 20 pound Chihuahua mix who has finished raising her puppies and is now ready to find her forever home. All of her puppies have found homes and now it’s her turn! Pippa is about 2–3 years old, mostly potty trained, and full of personality. Because of her spunky nature, she’d do best in a home with children 13 and up! She has been spayed and is current with all her vaccines. Pippa would do fine as the only pup in the home. An apartment would not be an appropriate home for her as needs space to expend her energy. To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt. It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. We don`t get to all of the inquires but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!

Story
Meet Bob!Bob is 1year old, neutered, and fully vetted Chihuahua mix. Bob is a lover at heart and the BEST snuggle-bug! He craves human connection and affection, although initially he is scared of people and needs time to trust and feel safe. Once he learns that he is safe, he wants to be your shadow! Nights will never be lonely again with Bob by your side! He’s dog friendly, but LOVES his human more. Bob is house trained with frequent visits outside and crate trained, but he’d rather stay with you.At a teeny 8lbs, Bob would make a great addition to an adults only household willing to let him decompress for a few days, as he gets to know you and your routine. As a timid Chihuahua, he’ll need a day or two to adjust and someone who is patient enough to allow Bob to come to them. After that he’s the best little companion. To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt. It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. We don`t get to all of the inquires but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!

Story
Meet Poe!Poe’s Puppy Adoption Profile “Soft heart. Tiny paws. Big potential.”Hi, I’m Poe — a 3-month-old male chihuahua mix with a sweet spirit and a gentle soul. I’m the kind of pup who likes to take my time getting to know new people. I might be a little shy at first, but once I decide you’re safe and kind, I’ll quietly make my way over to you… and suddenly you’ll realize you’ve gained a tiny shadow.I’m an independent guy — I don’t need constant attention — but I do love being near my person. When I’m feeling sleepy, I really appreciate warm snuggles and soft pets. That’s when my little tail thumps happiest.Running free in the yard is one of my absolute favorite things. I’m still trying to figure out this whole “walking on a leash” thing… honestly, I’m not a huge fan yet. But I’m a smart boy, and with patience and positive experiences, I’ll get there.I’m crate trained and feel safe in my cozy den. But there’s something else that really helps me: another dog around. I learn a lot from more confident pups, and I’d love a friendly canine buddy to show me the ropes — and maybe play chase with me in the yard.If you’re looking for a sweet, thoughtful puppy who blooms with gentle care, I might just be the little companion you’ve been waiting for. To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt. It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. Story
Meet Parker!Parker is a sweet 4 month old Chihuahua mix who is still learning that the world is a safe and loving place. This gentle boy came into foster care very shy, but with time, patience, and a calm environment, he’s slowly beginning to open up — and it’s been wonderful to watch his personality emerge. He is a quiet, thoughtful little guy who prefers to observe from a distance until he feels comfortable. He’s still too shy to come up for pets, but he`s getting braver every day. Once Parker trusts you, you can see the spark of playfulness start to show! He loves running around the yard doing zoomies and showing off his happy, silly side. He is also a sock thief — he loves to gather socks and bits of clothing and gently carry them back to his kennel like treasured souvenirs. It’s part of his comfort routine and just adds to his charm.Parker will thrive in a patient, low-pressure home with another friendly dog who can show him the ropes and help him continue growing his confidence. He’s not ready for a lot of handling yet, but with time and trust, he has the potential to blossom into a loving, loyal companion.Parker is a quiet soul with a big heart. Watching him learn to trust, play, and enjoy life is incredibly rewarding. If you’re looking for a gentle dog who just needs someone to believe in him, Parker is ready to start that journey with you.To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt.
